Canada, Nova Scotia, Started school in 1999, (Or was it 1998? Its so long ago and I’m soooo tired right now). First day of school and a large group of children had Pokemon toys from a birthday party that occured last week. Was called a loser since I didn’t know what Pokemon was yet. Proceeds to make it my personal mission to find out what these little guys are. Why I think Wes Stole the Snag Machine in the first place.

I find it pretty interesting that Wes who has the  “Shady Guy” Trainer Class

(the only one of the two in the entire series) Has two starters that evolve with friendship. He must care about his pokemon a lot right? Not to mention that he knew of the snag machines existence before he stormed the gates and blew up the place. Didn’t seem to have much of a plan on how to use it or find shadow pokemon before he met Rui.

So head cannon. His first Pokemon was stolen and he somehow knew it was turned into a shadow pokemon and jumped headfirst into this quest to find his first friend and he doesn’t stop until he finds the last Shadow pokemon that appears in game. Togetic. His first Buddy that he evolved with friendship from a baby Togepi. You don’t see him at all in the next game so bets are he removed the shadow from his pokemon and moved onto the next best thing, He got his friend back, Quest end.

(Makes me Wonder if he's related to the Kimono Girls somehow since thats where the original Togepi egg comes from in  the games (GOLD,SIVLER,CRYSTAL), Plus two Eevee.)
