The words stung her ears as they entered. Expression turning into something more bitter, eyes averted for she could not muster the courage to look at the man who had spoken. How dare he say something like that, at a time and place like this. Her momentary bout of confusion and grief had ended as quickly as it had made itself known. “I wish you wouldn’t say things like that, it makes things harder for me..” Her eyes fell back onto his, “I feel like you’re giving me false hope..and I don’t like it.” She tensed in the metal seat, weight shifting as she crossed one leg over the other, hands folded and resting on the metal table.

"I want to be here for you, Will..but don’t forget the position i’m in, and more importantly the one you’re in." She glanced down at his hands in chains, not far from her own.

A heavy sigh escaped her lips, her arms crossing over her chest, her body tensing as she did so. “We are friends, Will.” She averted her gaze as she spoke. She wasn’t exactly proud of the situation, or the circumstances of her visit. Reverting her eyes back to Will, behind the long bars of his..cage, she spoke again. “We’re friends, and I want to believe you, I do, but I’m worried about you.” Her jaw tightened for a moment, as if she was holding back, “I’m trying to keep an open mind about all of this, but you know what we found against you..” She dropped her hands to fiddle with the zipper on her leather jacket, “It’s because we’re friends i’m still here, Will..”
