I don’t think I have ever seen anyone headcanon Adam as trans, but the idea intrigues me! Give me a little more to work with.

Like, is Adam a trans male (that transitioned probably pre-show when?). Or, is he a trans female (that transitions either late in the show or after the show)? Where does the insecurity ultimately come from for Adam? His family? Friends? Media?

Ftm, basically him being insecure in his masculinity from media/society as well as how buff his own boyfriend is. Like him and Tank both having the same powers basically except that Tank was born/created male.
