the woman was not expecting such proximity-- sure, tracer was bold && obnoxious, seemingly incapable of making logical decisions, but widowmaker hadn’t thought the girl would lean so close. hastily, the assassin releases her scope to let her rifle fall back into its assault form, rolling away before pushing herself from the ground to aim at the overwatch agent. “right now?” she questions, visor lifting from its place covering her eyes. “an annoyance.”

There’s a look of confusion on the smaller girl’s face as she looks at the woman. She wasn’t sure if she was talking to her or just out in general. “Uhhhh…Hi?” The girl replied before raising a brow at the woman. “I’m standing right here, y’know.”

“i am not blind, enfant.” it’s spoken with a certain venom, words enunciated through accent clearly && with such force that her distaste was obvious. patience was a virtue that widowmaker was known for, but this was only true in situations of comfort-- that being behind her rifle && somewhere high, sighting down a target. in such a scenario involving an unknown-- for instance, this child-- her mind gets fuzzy with uncertainties. she’s not supposed to be in contact with anyone outside of talon’s operatives. “tell me why you are here-- && do not waste my time with stories that i will not care about nor remember.”
