Months after the events near Waset, signs of corruption are spreading once more across the kingdom. Whispers speak of a twisted power rising from the shadows. One that may not be satisfied staying in those shadows for long.
Tia-Hemet, priestess of Sekhmet, and Neferaset, soldier of Egypt, find themselves reunited in their mission to find and eradicate those responsible. One seeks the scattered pieces of a broken divine truth. One hunts the servants of this rising carnage. But Sekhmet's flame is changing them both.
They must survive what they are becoming.
