Okay, first of all I want to say that I'm super happy that we will get two acotar books, one after another in a very short period of time (my countdown is on :)

The other thing is that I am a big elucien girlie. Will I still read it if I learn that Azriel and Elain are endgame (because for sure, I will be spoiled)? Sure. Will I be sad that the ship that I shipped for oh so many years crashed? Of course. BUT HEAR ME OUT, MY HOT TAKE ON ALL OF THIS and of course I can be 1000% wrong BUT when Alex asked Sarah about "mates" Sarah answered how she answered and she mentioned Rhys's parents as an example of a..."bad mating". My point is what if the next book is about Elain exploring all good/bad mate things but who is also in a loveless marriage and who cheated on her husband? Yep, mama Vanserra. I might sound crazy, maybe cliché but what if Beron and her are also considered mates but her true true mate is Helion? JUST SAYIN okay :)

And as elucien girlie oh I live for THE TEA! In my brain all of that is kind of connected but I just can't put it into words but there is a visioooon!

OH AND ALSO what if get the third book in this trilogy but not really trilogy by the end of the next year? SO MANY GOOD BOOKS ARE ANNOUNCED I AM HYPEEE!

Since the lovely Sarah J Maas said that Elain and Lucien had “tension, growth, and healing” to be found together— @amandapearls and I wanted a piece of art that really showed the tension between these two characters.

Ekilateral.art did a wonderful job, and nailed this concept flawlessly!

My lovely friend @melphss and I were able to commission with insanely lovely art by @jjflorentina

The artist did such an incredible job showing Elain and Lucien in a sweet embrace.

@melphss thought this quote from Elain in ACOWAR reminded her of a quote from Jane Eyre so I attached both of them. I thought it was a lovely correlation.
