I keep getting asked how many piercings I have lately by random dudes.

It's 15. 7 in one ear, 8 in the other; two gauges in each ear, too. I leave jewelry in for months at a time because it's a pain in the butt to always change it out, and if I don't keep anything in, they start to close up.

Also, fun fact, most of the piercings and gauging I did myself. But don't be like me, it runs the risk of infection and wonky holes or tears.

Thanksgiving is coming up and I'm trying to decide on my outfit for it. If I should do something that makes me happy because I feel pretty, or if I should do something opposite.

I got an autism spectrum diagnosis and I'm still coming to terms with it. I really don't know how to feel, and I'm the one who's suspected for fucking years and purposely sought out an autism specialist to get diagnosed. For my birthday, as a treat.

The fuck do I do now.

Those that know me know how difficult hygiene/maintenance can be for me, which is why I highly prefer low maintenance for everything. Low maintenance, not as much effort needed, ya know?

So it feels like a triumph to be able to have my nails grow this long without breaking, me biting them, or me accidentally filing at weird angles because my fingers are weirdly turned part sideways.

Small things like this bring me joy.

You'd think I have ADHD with how often I hyper fixate on the randomest thing and wind up developing a new, obscure, skill. But I don't. No matter how desperate this one past teacher got, every testing came back, "dude, she's a kid. She can pay attention when you hold her interesit. You're just boring."

But on the upside, I'm gonna have some awesome handmade espadrilles to rock during Pride.
