Happy Dragon Age Day!
In honor of Dragon Age Day, we are happy to announce the release of World of Thedas Vol. 3 Fanbook Project!
Screen reader and print versions of the book can be found on itch.io, and a flipbook version is also available on heyzine.
We want to thank our amazing contributors, of whom this project wouldn't have come to fruition without.
We'd also like to thank everyone who has accompanied and supported us on this journey, we hope you enjoy this book as much as we enjoyed making it!

what keeps you up at night
Solas: "I once warned an elven village that Ghilan'nain was coming and they were in danger. They would not listen. I had to watch as their bodies twisted, as their shrieks turned into the grunting of animals. Their eyes were the worst part. They were still aware. They knew what had been done to them."
Hearing this, and taking into account "The Horror of Hormak" from Tevinter Nights, and remembering these wall paintings from DAI...
...I think it's pretty apparent that Ghilan'nain never actually created new creatures from whole cloth.
watch out, viper, he's getting suspicious
Sastry's Dream
Every time @svanha messages me and says it's my turn in her queue I scream. It couldn't have come at a better time as I was completing Secrets, Silence, and Sorrow. I am so utterly in love with these beautiful masterpieces!

Emmrich Volkarin - A Vibes Board
I am so very late for @emmrichweek2025, which was hosted by @datvcompanionweeks, but now finally I had enough spoons to work on my vibes board for our friendly neighborhood necromancer. Since it's still the spooky month, I think I'm not that late. Hope you guys love it as much as I do.
English version below.
Ok, siccome vedo molti artisti fare l' artvsartist2025 , a sto punto tocca anche a me 😆.
Okay, since I see many artists doing artvsartist2025, at this point it's my turn too 😆.
I'm not a particularly social person, so much so that I struggle to follow trends and challenges, but every now and then I force myself to go with the flow, like in this case. It always takes a lot of effort, but in the end, most of the time, I'm pretty happy with it.
And so, here's my artwrap for 2025!
It's been a very strange year, difficult in many ways, which has challenged me in unexpected ways, and which, alas, has brought with it news that has turned my life upside down. It's been a year in which, unfortunately, I've had to deal with my emotions, which I've tried to control and calm, but which have demanded my attention, calling me back to listen in very abrupt ways (thank you, body, I could have done without the panic attacks 😵💫).
But it was also a year that brought with it a rediscovery of myself that I thought I'd lost and could never regain. I rediscovered the joy and passion of drawing, and I can't explain in words how much it revitalizes my soul. Drawing is part of me, of my inner world, of my way of seeing the world. For a long time, I felt ashamed of what I truly loved to draw and tell, hiding behind the ideal of the serious artist, one who doesn't get lost in romantic nonsense. In doing so, I unwittingly killed a part of myself. But thanks to Dragon Age Veilguard and a wonderful community, my passion has reignited. And it's an infinite joy. Not that there aren't ups and downs, but the effort is worth a lifetime.
So, I'm partly grateful for the gift this year has given me, aiming to pursue my passion even more in the next one, hoping that in the meantime it will bring better news.
I haven't included all the drawings I've made since February because there are so many. I've been drawing almost literally every day, a goal I've consistently maintained most days and aim to continue pursuing.
I wish you all a Happy New Year ❤️.

After re-playing Jaw of Hakkon, I really wish there was a scene near the end where you talk to your romance or Cassandra and your three advisors about Ameridan and how everything this guy was—his race, his religion, his magic, even the woman he loved—was stripped from him. And the Chantry made him into their Inquisitor, their hero. If you're an elf/qunari/dwarf inquisitor, you should've had a scene about this because one day that will be you. The moment you and your romance and your companions are long gone, everything about your Inquisitor will be rewritten, and your non-human Inquisitor should've had a scene voicing those fears because what's the point of being this big important person in a position of power if in the end you'll end-up just like Ameridan?

Remember the reading short comic? Fenris receiving the letter? He sure didn't take that one well and he's on a mission now...
i understand why people are icked out by ships with large age gaps bc in real life u probably should be suspicious of anyone in their 50s who exclusively dates 20 year olds. but i find it hard to take fandom discourse about the concept seriously because 90% of the time ive met someone with a vested interest in an age gap ship it is NOT the younger character they care about. thats the one theyre self inserting on. they are projecting their desire for old men and i will not be the one to take that away from them.

Tell Me Tuesday
(I'm going to start posting some of the create-a-thon pieces here with commentary - both for my own records and to share 😂 Transcription of the visuals is after the notes.)
(This was one of my contributions for the Team Mourn Watch Collaboration 'Mementos of the Dead." The concept was a collection of artifacts from some of the folks interred in the Necropolis. The political landscape of Nevarra is fascinating - an undead King with no clear heir, nobles who compete for how well they can kill dragons and how reverent they are of their honored dead, various circles of Mages with overt political sway, lich lords and undead nobility who are at the least highly regarded and at most actual contenders for power. There are bound to be some hard feelings over the current state of things and I wanted to lean into that - so we have a dead political dissonant, continuing his crusade on the walls of the Necropolis to the delight of the students and the chagrin of the professors. I also loved the idea of Emmrich catching students passing notes and Vorgoth being the 'principal' who has to deal with them. 😂 There is also the tension that some in the Watch would agree with our poet - we know Emmrich doesn't like the nobility - but when your livelihood is caught up in the current system things can get complicated.
The concept of a spirit of Vigilance was from @seaglassmelody 's Sabi as a companion story. 💕 They seemed like a good source for Myrna to have spoken to for information.
I also really wanted to write some poetry and there weren't scoring rules for that when I wrote this. There were by the end of the creation period.)
Here lies a Pentaghast Who tried to be king Next to him a Van Markham Who tried the same thing Vaunted nobility Playing their games End up here vaulted Where all are the same And maybe one day They'll figure it out Tis the bone keepers Who have the real clout So keep your small crown Our dear fleshy friends You will be ours When you meet your end
The enclosed poem was confiscated during a lecture on controlled possession and managing spiritual resonance with the senior apprentices. I reminded the students about the importance of professional decorum. I have also passed on the names of the primary perpetrators to the Senior Watchers. I would recommend each be interviewed to ensure they are not harboring any serious seditious intent. While I certainly sympathize with the perceptions some of our students have of the nobility, it is of the utmost importance that they fully appreciate the nature of our patronage from the upper classes. Or at least, the importance of picking one’s battles. - Prof. E. Volkarin
I HAVE SPOKEN TO THE STUDENTS. THEY DID NOT WRITE THE POEM. IT MATERIALIZED ON THE STONE OVERLOOKING THE SCREAMING CANYONS. THEY FOUND IT AMUSING. THEY ARE NO LONGER AMUSED. FURTHER RESEARCH IS WARRANTED. ENSURE THIS IS ADDED TO THE ARCHIVES. VORGOTH
We have questioned the spirits who frequent the screaming canyons. A political dissonant who died under questionable circumstances, one Otto Willibald, recently came into our care. Vigilance reported seeing the man’s skeleton in the area having a discussion with spirits of Destruction and Knowledge. Professor Volkarin was asked to speak to the suspected author and let him know he can be provided writing materials but the stone walls are off limits. This should also allow us to keep his work amongst seasoned Watchers who can be trusted. - Myrna, Keeper of the Seals
