Having been a fan of miraculous since season 1 led me to feeling a particular hatred for Lila (in case any of y’all remember the era where we thought Volpina was going to be a new hero only for THAT episode to air..absolute betrayal to 12 year old me lol). But I have to say after this episode I truly respect her as a villain. Secret Protocol wasn’t her trying to finally get confirmation Marinette is Ladybug nooooooo. She already knew that. She wasn’t trying to get the earrings either. This was absolutely a message for Mari. She’s studied her so well she knew exactly how Marinette would plan and react to that scenario to mess her up as much as possible. Lila really just said “I know who you are, so count your days Marinette. You. Are. FUCKED!”

No matter what gets announced tomorrow, we did our best, I still plan on rewatching the show over and over again, whether as background noise or an after work wind down treat. I still like the show and always will. If we get more content via television or comic, you best believe imma eat that shit up. 🤍

Hate to be one of those people but I touched grass today and paid some bills, at the end of the day it is a children’s show…it’s never that serious.
