fleursdevilles: As Lady Mary’s trusted lady’s maid, Anna embodies kindness, discretion, and strength and is reimagined in florals here with her son, Johnnie, created by @lianaverderocce. This floral scene celebrates her devotion not only to her duties but also to her growing family. The entire Downton cohort attends the County Show, now led by Isobel after Violet’s passing, with Anna, pregnant with their second child, joined by Mr Bates and their son Johnnie. The County Show is a great success, giving the servants of Downton a chance to enjoy themselves in a moment away from the Abbey. Inspired by Anna’s strength, devotion, and quiet resilience, this design reflects tenderness as a source of power. Through blooms chosen with care, the piece celebrates love, motherhood, and the courage found in everyday duties – qualities that make Anna, and women like her, truly extraordinary. Anna is dressed in a coat of silver brunia and a dress of lamb’s ear, succulents and string of hearts, accessorised with delicate bunny tail gloves and a handbag of skeleton leaves.
