You’re lucky, my parents know literally nothing about VIMY. It’s not a bad thing or anything, but it can make things awkward. I dressed up as Horky for Halloween, and they kept pestering me about who I was. They thought I was a Pokémon for some reason? I did get recognized a few times during the night, and even met someone dressed up as Cronston, so that made the whole thing worth it.
