(peering at the word of honor fix it)
😁😁😁
Yeah, the last one I’ve planned (which kinda makes me a bit sad)
So this is basically an ‘everybody lives’ fic (yes, I can do those, too, lo and behold), where ZZS doesn’t pull the stupid nails out and neither Gu Xiang nor Cao Weining die. Yeah, I know, I did that before in my other fic, but I just hate her death so so so so so so so so much, and then some. So there they all are, in newly rebuilt Four Seasons Manor, and after some time, they get a little surprise. One that freaks everyone out but the person who’s most affected by it 🤣 And of among all those who are freaking out, Wen Kexing is by far the one who takes it worst. 🤣
Snippet (may still change, as this is still very sketchy):
Their bedroom was dark when Zhou Zishu entered, which told him that the hot bath had not done the trick. He sat down on the bed beside Wen Kexing, stroked his hair to one side and kneaded the tense muscles on his neck.
“Headache still not better?” he asked softly, feeling Wen Kexing wince at his every touch.
“It’s not so bad. I just need the calm.”
Zhou Zishu hummed, moving his hands from Wen Kexing’s neck to his shoulders.
“Then sleep. Sleep, and tomorrow all will look better.”
“Sleep?”
Wen Kexing sat up suddenly, his eyes wide. That look, Zhou Zishu knew, did not bode well.
“How do you think I can sleep just now? There is so much we need to do, to prepare, to… to think ahead. Ah Xu, what if something goes wrong? We have no idea… none of us. Not even Wu Xi.”
“Ah Xiang will-“
“But how? How is she supposed to know? Ah Xu, you really have no idea what it was like in Ghost Valley. There was no normality. She just doesn’t know!”
