ACOMAF pregnancies
I can just Imagine how spectacular it would be if all of the ACOMAF girls got pregnant at the same time. After a lot of years of marriage theyâd decide they want to have babies. The hormonal ups and downs from their mates that the boys will have to experience would be an emotional roller coaster.
Feysand-  Feyre would be super đş all the time. Rhys would of course be happy to oblige to anything she asks ;). Rhys would be saying that their baby will be the most powerful and good looking baby bat in all the land. Heâd  carry Feyre up the stairs while sheâd be complaining the whole way up.
Nessian- Nesta would constantly have anger bursts and would throw random objects at Cassian. Heâd laugh and constantly tell Nesta she should be proud that their baby bat is carrying his Amazing genetics.
Elucien- Elain would constantly be emotional and crying. Lucien would try to do anything to make her stop crying. Sheâd constantly remind him that sheâs crying because sheâs so happy that sheâs carrying his baby ginger. Â
Moriel/ Amor- When Mor tells Azriel their having a baby bat heâd be speechless but with tears running down his face. She would always catch him talking to her stomach while sheâs pretending to be asleep.
Amren- She would be preparing to be the coolest Godmother to those babies. Already buying them tons of things to spoil them. Â
YOU CANâT TELL ME THIS DOESNâT MEAN ANYTHING . NOpeENOPEPP DORAELIN WILL RISE (1rst pic is from qos 2nd is from a court of mist and fury and its a feyre and rhysand scene who are MATES.)
LETâS NOT FORGET THE ALL IMPORTANT MOMENT when Dorian felt completely comfortable showing up at celeanaâs room in the middle of the night âbecause he felt a bone deep certainty that she would never harm him.â and mates canât harm each other.

Rowan, Dorian and Aelin
OMFG guysâŚâŚso I was talking to my husband about how I like Rowan with Aelin but something in my heart is holding out for Dorian and Aelin and I was explaining the whole how I think Rowan and Aelin are probably mates but there is so much foreshadowing for Dorian and AelinâŚ.my husband looks at me and says that maybe Rowans real connection with Aelin on a âmate levelâ is that he will mate with Aelin and Dorianâs child (when they are older) and that is why they are so connected. Like fucking Jacob with Bella and Edwards kid from Twilight. I fell out of my chair like what what what NO! (Back then I had him sit through the Twilight movies with me and he was totally weirded out by the Jacob X BxE Kid mate bond).
I think I am a bit scarred by this.

OH MY GOD
Even if Doraelin isn't endgame i will FOREVER be Doraelin trash the holy OTP who has so many parallel scenes w my other holy OTP Feyrhys and don't tell me its coincidental because i WILL NOT BUY IT
Doraelin/Rowaelin and Mates
Iâve said this before and Iâll say it again ROWAN AND AELIN CAN NOT BE MATES. They have physically hurt each other on more than one occasion. YOU CAN NOT HURT YOUR MATE. Them being mates would literally go against EVERYTHING the books have said about being mates. Why is this even an argument at this point? I donât hate Rowaelin, they just clearly arenât meant to last.
Meanwhile instances have taken place where it was specifically mentioned that Aelin DID NOT HURT Dorian. Dorian and Aelin are WAYYYY more likely to mates than Rowan and Aelin. Iâm sorry but itâs true. Iâm not saying they are going to be, but if someone was going to be Aelinâs mate at this point my money is on Dorian.
I'm so sorry for this post.
Tamlin had three brothers, yes?
And Rhysand killed them all by shattering their minds.
I just imagine Rhys doing what Feyre did with the Attor as he killed Tamlinâs brothers.
âThis is for my mother.â Shatters oneâs mind.
âThis is for my sister.â The next.
âAnd this is for me.â The final one.
All the while he starts to cry.
azriel: -breaks down door excitedly- guY S GUE sS WHa T
mor: HOLY SHIT HEâS SHOWING EMOTION WHY IS HE SHOWING EMOTION FEYRE GET THE BAT ITâS AN IMPOSTOR
feyre: -drags rhysand out by the ears- got him!
mor: i meant the baseball bat against the wall near you.
feyre: -looks at rhysand-
feyre: -looks at the baseball bat-
feyre: whatâs the difference
rhys: my ear hurts why am i here
azriel:
azriel:
azriel: iâm so done with you guys.
âYou sent that music into my cell. Why?â Rhysandâs voice was hoarse. âBecause you were breaking. And I couldnât find another way to save you.
If anyone tries to tell me that Rhysand is not a cinnamon roll I will fight you. (via bookedeverynight)
Mor: hey, rhys, do you know where feyre is?
Rhys: wait a sec.
Rhys: *cups hands and shouts* RHYSAND IS A FUCKING ASSHOLE!
Feyre: DAMN STRAIGHT, HE IS!
Rhys: over ther--wait what?
On Feyre, Tamlin, Rhys, and the Question of Agency and Children
So, I havenât really seen anyone talking about this, but can we take a moment to appreciate the differences between Tamlinâs and Rhysâs reactions when it comes to Feyre and her choice in having potential future offspring? On one hand, we have Tamlin, who just assumes that of course Feyre will want to have children, and of course they will keep having children until a male and potential heir is born. Tamlin during the Tithe scene: ââBecause thatâs the way it is. Thatâs the way my father did it, and his father, and the way my son shall do it.â He offered a smile, and reached for my hand. âSomeday.ââ
We find out shortly after this that the subject of children has never been broached (according to Feyre), but Tamlin doesnât even seem to consider that Feyre might not want to have children, let alone multiple children until they have a male.  (We later find out in the scene below that Feyre doesnât want to have children, at least not right away. She wants to get used to being immortal first, and experience adventures of her own â she wants to feel ready before she has children of her own.) Tamlin only acknowledges her agency in this matter to the extent that she might not want to have children right awayâjust âsomeday.â Rhys, on the other hand, doesnât assume any such thing. As he has done throughout ACOMAF, he continuously affirms Feyreâs right to agency over her life, her body, her sexual choices, and now her right to want or not want children.Â
This is so important because this topic about female agency when it comes to pregnancy/children isnât discussed very often in YA lit. Feyre and Rhysâs discussion about children and pregnancy comes up right after they mate. Feyre:Â âIf I am a High Lordâs mate, Iâm expected to bear you offspring, arenât I? So perhaps I shouldnât [take the birth control tonic].â
Rhys: ââYou are not expected to bear me anything,â he snarled. âChildren are rare, yes.  So rare, and so precious. But I donât want you to have them unless you want toâunless we both want to. [âŚ] I would be happy beyond reason, though, if you one day did honor me with children.  To share that with you.ââ <âunitalicized/underlined words indicate stressed words in the original text. If it isnât showing up (Tumblr is being dumb), the words he stresses are âanythingâ and âbothâ.
Feyre: ââI want to live first,â I said. âWith you.  I want to see things and have adventures.  I want to learn what it is to be immortal, to be your mate, to be part of your family. I want to beâŚready for them. And I selfishly want to have you all to myself for a while.ââ
Rhys: âHis smile was gentle, sweet. âYou take all the time you need. And if I get you all to myself for the rest of eternity, then I wonât mind that at all.ââ
Feyre starts off the conversation burdened with the expectation that she must have Rhysâs children, because that is what tradition would demand out of a High Lordâs wife.  Thatâs what Tamlin expected, and she never had much of a voice in the matter except perhaps when that would happen. She believes this so much that she believes itâs selfish of her to not want children, to want to just be with her mate. But Rhys is vehement in that she doesnât owe himâor anyoneâanything. Just as he has throughout ACOMAF, he reminds her that this is her choice, and always will be.  He doesnât expect her to bear him children, especially if she doesnât want to.  If they have children, he wants it to be because they both want it. Together.  And while he lets her know that he welcomes the idea of childrenâthat he would be âhappy beyond reasonââhe honestly doesnât mind if they donât.  He is more than happy to just have Feyre with him, his mate, and he will be content with whatever decision she makes, no matter what it is or when she makes it.  She can take all the time she needs, and if she decides that she wants children with him, heâll consider it an âhonorââhim, a High Lord.  I justâŚI find this so beautiful and respectful. He doesnât push his own agenda but lets her know how he feels about it and gives her plenty of space to decide for herself. I just feel like there is always this expectation that women should want children, and I love that Sarah puts it out there that you donât have to want children right away, or even later.  Feyre is enough, and she will always be enough for Rhysâand I think Feyre really needed to hear that, because so often she hasnât been enough. Not to her family, and not to Tamlin. She has had so many expectations forced on her, and sheâs buckled beneath them before, and Rhys justâŚlets her know that she has a choice. That just like with her life and her sexual choices and her body, children are also her choice.  He will support her no matter what, and love her no matter what. Feyre is her own agent, and I love that so much.  I want to see more Rhys characters in YA because this is such a great, powerful message that all women should know: You are in control of your own body, always.
Acomaf
Okay okay. I am rereading it slooowly and relishing it, but I was suddenly overcome with this urge to talk about it. So here goes randomness: ⢠The name Tamlin the Tool ⢠makes me proud of the fandom. ⢠This book is the best example of âshow, donât tellâ ever. ⢠The portrayal of depression and abusive relationships is out of this world. ⢠I mean I literally almost had a panic attack both times I read about Feyreâs panic attack when Tamlin the Tool locked her up, I was hyperventilating and dizzy. ⢠It is an astounding example of how the fuck to deal with a person thatâs having such problems. How Mor kept saying âyou are FREEâ instead of safe and how Rhys told her that she had nothing to be sorry about and how they cared for her even when she didnât even have strength to speak and how he tried to pull her back to life. ⢠It is feminist AF and it even has a parallel to female genital mutilation with the crippled wings of the Illyrian females. ⢠Itâs also empowering AF. Feyre leaving the toxic relationship for HERSELF is the best think to have happened to literature in ages. ⢠Sex is not glossed over even a little bit and is instead referred to as something normal that people have every right to crave for. ⢠Sex and sexual scenes are also beautifully written, all the tension in the Nightmare Court had me at the edge of my seat and the table with the paint made such a beautiful image! ⢠The settings were BEAUTIFUL, just the right amount of description. ⢠The writing was also phenomenal, with plenty of intriguing details that I couldnât have thought to save my life, and the friendships were heartwarming and complex and interesting.
And so, so much more! I literally cannot stop thinking about this book. So Iâm going back to reading it again!
All the times in ACOTAR when Feyre describes Rhys as a lover.
(Itâs actually a lot, guys ⌠heheheheheh).
âThere you are. Iâve been looking for you,â said a deep, sensual male voice Iâve never heard (ACOTAR 188).
âWhatâs a mortal woman doing here on Fire Night?â His voice was a loverâs purr that sent shiver through me, caressing every muscle and bone and nerve (ACOTAR 189).
His voice dropped into a whisperâan erotic caress of sound that brought heat to my cheeks (ACOTAR 235).
Rhysand laughedâa loverâs laugh, low and soft and intimate (ACOTAR 236).
âPlease what?â Rhysand saidâgently, coaxingly. Like a lover (ACOTAR 240).
Rhysand examined the wound, a smile appearing on his sensuous lips (ACOTAR 331).
Though the world spun and danced in my vision, something primal inside me went still and cold beneath that gaze (ACOTAR 332).
He let out a low laugh that slid along my bones, warming my blood (ACOTAR 343).
âNo more household chores, no more tasks,â he said, his voice an erotic caress (ACOTAR 344).
âAnd Feyre,â he added, his voice a caressing murmur, âI donât like my belongings tampered withâ (ACOTAR 348).
He ran his fingers down my cheekâa gentle caress (ACOTAR 349).
I stared at his profile, at the elegant nose and sensuous lips (ACOTAR 350).
Only those star-flecked violet eyes were bright, full of color and light (ACOTAR 368).
My body went taut and loose all at once and I burned, even as chills shuddered along my limbs (ACOTAR 368).
He groaned as he stood, a soft, deep-throated noise that traveled along my bones (ACOTAR 369).
âDo you actually intend to put yourself at my mercy, or are you truly that stupid?â His voice was composed of sensuous, bone-breaking ire (ACOTAR 379).
A half smile appeared on his sensuous lips. âI know,â he said, and vanished (ACOTAR 385).
I was pulled from sleep by something tugging at my middle, a thread deep inside (ACOTAR 412).
It didnât come out with the snap Iâd intended. Not as I remembered how heâd fought, again and again, to attack Amarantha, to save me (ACOTAR 413).
â
BONUS - RHYSAND MOMENTS
A flicker of excitementâperhaps even disbeliefâflashed across his features, but he whipped his head back to Lucien (ACOTAR 237).
His eyes shifted to my face. âWhatâs your name, love?â (ACOTAR 241).
Rhysand was silent for a long moment, his eyes traveling across my body and face before he murmured: âA week it isâ (ACOTAR 335).
âWhat do I care?â he breathed, wrath twisting his features. Wingsâthose membranous, glorious wingsâflared from his back, crafted from the shadows behind him. âWhat do I care?â (ACOTAR 380).
Rhysand yelled my name againâyelled it as though he cared (ACOTAR 399).
Rhysandâs arms buckled as he fought to rise, and blood dripped from his nose, splattering on the marble. His eyes met mine. The bond between us went taut. I flashed between my body and his, seeing myself through his eyes, bleeding and broken, and sobbing (ACOTAR 400-401).
I arched my back, my spine straining to the point of cracking, and Rhysand bellowed my name as I lost my grip on the room (ACOTAR 401).
Rhysand stepped forward, bringing my shred of soul with him, and I found Tamlin staring at meâat us. âFor what she gave,â Rhysand said, extending a hand, âweâll bestow what our predecessors have granted to few before.â He paused. âThis makes us even,â he added, and I felt the twinkle of his humor as he opened his hand and let the seed of light fall on me.
