Wings
Soft Miranda and Alcina. "Miranda's wings are more honest than Miranda herself/her wings are sensitive."
When she first saw the wings flutter, Alcina's attention was drawn towards it. She watched, enraptured by the many black feathers swaying up and down in excitement that Miranda would never show. This made her intrigued to study them a bit more carefully. She found out it happened whenever Miranda recieved a hug or a kiss from her. A praise or when they met eyes.
On Miranda's bad days, Alcina observed her wings were droopy, lower than normal. They weren't held with the authority as per usual. Those days, Alcina made sure to be on her best behavior where Heisenberg would get into trouble. A delightful show that brought a smile to her face. One she swears the priestess glared at. As if jealous.
Tonight, Alcina took note of how to tell when Miranda was stressed. Her daily visit to the castle where everything had to be perfect, the countess noticed a few feathers falling out as she walked.
She didn't acknowledge it or let on that she even knew it was happening. Daniela wanted to collect them which Alcina immediately put a stop to. Bela promptly dragged her siblings away from causing a ruckus.
And Alcina is forever grateful for her daughter being able to read her mind during these visits. After Miranda's expection and Alcina telling her news that might be of use came dinner.
The former didn't eat but through the mask, the latter could see the stress clouding those pale eyes. Wings shudder and a couple feathers fall, littering the table mat before the deity. Alcina thought best to speak up.
"Mother Miranda..." She starts, waiting until the mentioned woman raised her head. "I know it's not my place to say but when's the last break you had? Away from your obsession or ruling over us. Perhaps you should-"
"Enough!" Miranda cuts her off, those gorgeous wings flying open. The amount of feathers that fell made her shut them again, realizing there's no hiding it anymore.
She stands, chair screeching against the floor, and she turns, leaving towards the balcony for fresh air. Alcina hesitates before going after the deity. She pushes the heavy doors and sighs at the cool breeze that greets her. Miranda stood at the railing, hands griping tightly around the cement, and those golden claws digging in.
Alcina glances behind, making sure the two were alone, and wraps her arms around Miranda, squeezing lightly. Miranda jumped at the sudden contact but leaned back, her body slumping and relaxing at the familiarity.
"I'm right, you know. You're working yourself too hard. Striving for so much in such little time."
Miranda rolls her eyes stubbornly. "You also know the reasoning to why I am doing this. I will not stop until I get her back."
"I only wish for a day to allow yourself, your body, to rest."
The smaller woman scoffs, wings clamping tightly to her frame. Alcina chuckles, slipping the metal crow mask off.
"I have been watching you. Your wings specifically. They give a lot away." She says, loosening her hug to run a hand over said wings. They were extremely soft to the touch. "You're losing a lot of feathers. That's how I knew you were stressed."
Miranda shivers, still acting as if she didn't like the pets. Alcina knows better, judging by the way all eight limbs began to rise up and down happily. It started to feel really nice eventually and Miranda felt something build in her throat. She leaned her head to the side, resting it upon Alcina's arm.
Then to both of their shock, a small coo escapes Miranda's mouth, similar to that of a crow. A deep blush spreads across the priestess' face, covering her mouth instantly. Alcina halts all movements, bewilderment across her features as Miranda moves away.
A silence between them lasts a few moments before Miranda gives in, looking back to face the vampire. She sees a huge grin and her blush only darkens, those darn wings shifting to hide her face self-consciously. Something her mask would do if she had it. Alcina shakes her head slowly and kisses Miranda's forehead.
"Honestly Miranda. You never cease to amaze me by how adorable you really are under that facade you put on."
Miranda curses Alcina for making her soft and hides her face by burying her head into the taller woman's stomach. She's supposed to be menacing, not blushing like a simple human. She's the symbol of power and here she is, submitting. She hates feeling so vulnerable yet safe within these arms. As if nothing will happen to her. She glances up to meet gold eyes. Slit pupils now dilated and full of adoration.
Alcina rubs Miranda's back, soothing ruffled feathers. "Care to stay the night?"
The blonde stays quiet but Alcina already knew the answer, scooping her up into her arms and exiting the balcony. Miranda prays that no one was present to witness this but on the other hand, she wanted people to see. To see who Alcina belonged to. Her wings twitch in happiness, letting the countess know of this

Bloodlust
Warning! Contains Blood and a tad bit of gore. Don't really like this one but it was fun I suppose. "Cassandra in a blood lust and Alcina calming her down." 😔🤙
She doesn't know who the lady is at the door. She could only hear muffled conversation as she cleaned her father's weapons. He told her to go into the back so they can talk. She didn't want to, putting up a fight but ultimately lost. It isn't long before she hears a cry of pain. Acting upon instincts, she grabs a nearby hunting knife, and throws open the room door.
Her body freezes in its place, her grip immediately loosening, her eyes widening in horror. A massacre. Her father's body mutilated and the woman, covered in feathers along with her father's blood stares at her. Anger takes hold and her fist is white knuckled tight around the handle. She lifts the knife, charging at the mysterious woman allowing blind rage to control her actions.
It wasn't until she was immobilized before she stopped. A strange material, similar to wood by the looks of it, encasing her body. It squeezes the air out of her, darkness taking over her eyesight and her eyes flutter shut. The last thing she saw were black fathers painted red, the air metallic and strong.
Next thing she knows: its warm. She groans in pain, brunette hair falling over her shoulders. Her head is pounding. The crackling of fire alerts her although too weak to move. She glances around the best she could, seeing two other women on either side. The headache pounds harder as doors open. Steps in a lady. Not the one that captured her but three times her size, clad in white and a black hat.
Fierce gold meets hazel. Her vision blurs feeling a gloved hand lift her chin up. "Soon. We will meet soon." She whispers, everything succumbing to the darkness.
What felt likes ages when she greets the light again. She feels...hungry and confused. She doesn't remember a thing. Who she is, where she's from, where she's even at. Groans to her sides makes her look over. Two equally confused women. One blonde and the other with auburn hair. The sound of heels grabs all three of their attentions.
A extraordinarily tall lady. There's tension within the air but also a click. Like a connection between mother and her daughters.
"Welcome, Bela, Cassandra, and Daniela." She greets, pointing to each person.
So her names Cassandra.
That's the day she turned. Today marked the end of the first week after waking up with an entirely new life, new powers, a new hunger that never seemed to be fulfilled. At their arrival, the maids that once populated the castle dwindled in numbers and Cassandra was starving.
She hasn't experienced hunger like this and it hurt. Agonizingly empty, practically buzzing and clawing to escape. She needed to hunt. Bela and Daniela were content, so why wasn't she? Cassandra tried busying herself with books, getting to know her new siblings more, and her mother. But nothing worked. They were forbidden to touch the few staff that remained.
Cassandra learned to stalk, doing so from afar. Fleshy humans. Filled with warm, wet, blood. Her mouth watered. She snarled, canines elongated into fangs and itching to meet the neck of her victim. Soon she had enough, pulling out her sickle and walking up to one. Flies buzzed around hungrily and before the poor soul had a chance to react, the sharp blade was plunged inside her stomach. Cassandra watches the maid struggle to catch her breath and collapse to the floor.
This wasn't as thrilling as she had hoped but nonetheless drank the maid dry. It still was not enough. She grumbles and pulls out the sickle, not bothering to clean it nor hide the corpse. She wanders the halls, cloak soaked, and the area around her mouth drenched. She comes across another maid. This time she had an idea.
Cassandra saunters over, tapping the maid on her shoulder. She turns to look at one of the ladies of the castle, bowing out of curtsey. Partially ignoring the blood but the vampire could see the fear building up. She places the cold metal onto the maiden's arm. She smiles widely at the flinch and slices down, creating a deep gash that bled. The scream was music to her ears.
"Now. Run." She says and the maid does exactly that, running towards the courtyard doors.
She turns to see a few flies left in Cassandra's place but she doesn't care. Her hand cradles the hurt arm, legs carrying her as fast as they could. A fit of giggling fills the eerie silence and Cassandra materializes in front of the doors, blocking her only exit. The maid pleads for her life, making the smile only grow wider and two screams echo throughout the castle. One from the maid as teeth tore into her throat and one from Cassandra. A victory scream.
The sound grabs Alcina's attention. She was already walking downstairs. She could tell it's human but the second sounded like her daughter. Entering the dining room, she stops, eyes narrowing.
"Cassandra! What on earth are you doing!"
The second oldest of the Dimitrescu daughters looks up, pupils slit and licking blood off her lips. Her chest rose with every irregular breath and Alcina frowns all too knowingly. The pure look of an insatiable hunger. Cassandra giggles, standing straight and twirling her sickle.
"Eating my fill, mother." She responds.
Alcina takes a step forward. "My dear, I understand what's happening. A burning hunger correct?"
Cassandra growls. "So what if it is? There are so many maidens around here! And you won't even let us have one."
"Because if we run out now, we won't have enough to sustain ourselves until I hire more."
The brunette blinks a couple times, pupils dilating and meeting her mothers eyes sheepishly. "But...but it hurts. Everything was telling me to kill. To hunt. I enjoyed it. I needed it."
Alcina kneels in front of Cassandra, grabbing both her hands. "You're a little different. That is a good thing. You'll be an excellent hunter when we need it. Perhaps even teach your siblings or I."
Cassandra tilts her head, growling stubbornly. "Do you really mean it?"
She's pulled into a hug. "I mean it whole heartedly."
Her daughter smiles wearily. She only ever felt safe within her mother's arms and at times like these, she never wanted to leave. Despite staining that dress.
The "Cassandra saying rawr to her siblings then to Alcina who fakes being scared to make her child happy" one shot
Cassandra was excited. She had been practicing all week for this moment. She wanted a way to scare her prey before revealing herself. It didn't go as planned when trying it on her sisters. Bela somehow knew Cassandra was stalking her and told her to stop following her around the castle. It resulted in a grumble and pout from the middle child.
Next she ventured on to Daniela, locating her in the library, distracted by reading. Cassandra smirked and slowly crept towards her, limiting the amount of buzzing she did. Once behind the youngest, she yells rawr into her ear as she materializes and Daniela yelps, immediately grabbing her sickle and pinning Cassandra to the floor. The blade at the brunette's throat all the while she giggled at Daniela's exasperated look.
"You scared me!"
"That was the whole point." Cassandra grins then sticks her tongue out at her sister.
Daniela glares and stands up, walking away to leave her sister on the floor as she growled angrily. Definitely annoyed that her reading got interrupted. Cassandra also stands, dusting herself off, when an idea pops into her head. What if she tried scaring Alcina? And after that, the thought never went away.
So she waited. She watched her mother's routine, studied it even. She figured the best time to strike is when her mother was in her chambers. Putting the plan into motion, she tried to stick close to the floor as she slipped under the door. She saw Alcina with her back against the pillows on her bed, reading just like Daniela had been doing. Cassandra smirked. This will be easy.
But what Cassandra didn't take into account was the fact that as she got closer to someone, the flies couldn't stay concealed forever. It's easier when your victims are also made of flies and can mistake them as their own. Alcina noticed, eyeing the couple gathering around her. She sets down her book and a few more appeared.
"Rawr!" Cassandra yells, materializing again.
It wasn't exactly scary to the woman but Alcina smiled softly before faking a gasp, lifting a hand to her heart.
"My word! You scared me Cassandra!"
Cassandra's eyes lit up in glee and she grins happily. "Yes!"
"Are you practicing, my dear?" Alcina inquires.
"I am. I scared you and Daniela! Bela somehow knew I was stalking her."
Alcina shakes her head slowly. "Of course she did. Keep practicing and perhaps one day she'll get scared."
Cassandra giggles and climbs onto the bed to give a quick hug. Alcina places a small kiss onto her head and her daughter rushes to the door afterwards. Most likely to brag that she got mother.
Black feathers envelopes us. The fire flickers behind, illuminating her in a warm glow. Her neck is craned to the side and I can barely keep myself back. An urge to bury my fangs into the soft skin. She's allowing me the taste of a god, a deity. Something I've wanted to do for years. There's hesitation before words fill the silence, "Take your fill, Alcina. Take what you have earned." She purrs and the hesitation fizzles out and fangs pierce flesh. Wings flutter and twitch with a sharp gasp. Dark crimson floods my mouth. She tastes divine. All I can do is growl and take what is mine.
-Alciranda 🍷
She's like a snowflake. Beautiful yet delicate. Too rough and she'll break. She glistens in the moon, her preferred time to awake. The light is a halo, bringing out the blue pools she calls eyes. I'm in awe, enraptured by her existence. She calls it a burden; I call it a blessing. She's the one. One I have been praying for, one that I could only dream of, and one I now promise to protect. She's scarred. Her fears consume her, slowly disappearing with every kiss and muttering of "I love you and I'll never leave you."
