Do we all get how nice it is for him NOT to have a friggin’ catchphrase? Or a fez? And for him to stop kissing his companions? The Doctor is not a series of obligatory tricks. He’s, also, not a god. He’s a very old, amazingly cool character. The writers who focus on the catchphrases and the funny hats fail to recognize just how awesome he is.

My love to all of the human beings who practice the Muslim religion. These acts in Paris should not be legitimized by referring to the lost souls who committed them as representatives of any religion. They are assaulting Islam as surely as they assault innocent people, by pretending they come in the name of Allah when they clearly are agents of evil. It should be understood by now that no one who understands God would take another person’s life through violence and all Muslim people who know Allah know this.

HOW TO FACT-CHECK ON TUMBLR

A few notes:

Do this for every informative/news-related post you want to reblog. The fewer reblogs a false report gets, the less it spreads.

The best thing you can do for a false report is not reblog it at all, OR start your own post to debunk it, with a link to the original. If you reblog to debunk it, your reply will get lost in the huge amount of notes, and you will just end up spreading the misinformation further.

Sometimes a totally unlikely story turns out to be true! It’s even more fun to reblog it when you’ve confirmed that it’s real.
