Headcanon: Eggs takes to creating clothes, and makes enough barbershop quartet suits for everybody to have three. The town establishes a Dress like a Quartet day and everybody takes vocal lessons.

'Kubo and the Two Strings' Named Best Animated Feature by National Board of Review

The National Board of Review announced today that it has chosen Laika’s stop-motion/cg-hybrid film Kubo and the Two Strings as its best animated feature of 2016.

Headcanon: Over time after the events of his movie, Kubo starts to see Raiden taking back to the behavior he exhibited as the Moon King. He starts to keep to the cave that once held his daughter and grandson, showing great disdain every time Kubo came home from the village. He feared standing up to his grandfather, especially because the villagers had truly believed they had helped change Raiden, but realizes what all he overcame. A moon god that had lost their power was nothing compared to each monster he faced. He leaves the village for good, becoming a traveling story teller and setting out for better things.

Headcanon: Coraline starts to have dreams with the Ghost Children she had saved from the Other World, which she thought would never happen after the last time she had seen them. They had noticed her troubles with the after effects of the Other World and wanted to make sure she would be okay, thus leading to all her dreams with them having her confide in them what she can't tell anyone else around her about the horrors she had to endure.

Headcanon: Herbert, Eggs dad, suffers from memory loss after the events of the film. It comes and goes, and Eggs does his best not to hold it against him, even during those brief moments when his father looks at him and politely asks who he is.

Headcanon: When Coraline visits family in Massachusetts she meets Norman for the first time, and through some weird happenstance of events, Eggs and Kubo appear as ghosts to the both of them and they all become friends. Hilarity ensues.

Headcanon: Norman goes out to Aggie's burial site every once in a while after the events of the movie, just to talk to her even though she's moved on. It gives him a moment of peace, and maybe Aggie winds up appearing there after he visits enough times so she can listen.
