Lain stood up a little taller, chin lifting slightly in a proud stance as he was deemed by this stranger as “not so bad.” His head then canted to the side with a curious expression laced through his features as he listened to her words. A few of the things she said he didn’t understand and a part of him mulled them over- contemplating if he should ask or not. She didn’t seem like most that he stumbled upon near the city and she had been in the forest. That was always a good sign.

“Wandering can be fun though ah... so long as you don’t fall into a pit or get eaten by an animal. Although you should carry a weapon with you! They’re good for scaring animals around here away if they’re not nice.” His lips twisted in thought shortly after- truthfully, he had not encountered such creatures in Quel’thalas but he was certain there must be some.

“Ah, a-anyway, I like trees too! They’re better than houses, so you’re smart for that.” He nodded eagerly, hesitating before he lifted a hand to gesture towards her. “If it’s okay though you... uh, mentioned a fairy tale? They’re life lessons? How so? Is it a real tail or is it a story?”

Lain let out an easy laugh as he shook his head, “People say I do weird things. It’s okay, although going into strange houses seems unsafe too.” He continued to lean forward until gravity took a hold of his form. He fell from the roof in an almost lazy fashion, but as if mirroring the look in his eyes he managed to land upon his feet like a cat. His legs bent a bit as his feet met the ground, but he remained a few feet away from the woman. In his own way, he’d noted how nervous she had been before.

The sun was no longer a bane, revealing a tan Sin’dorei with relatively short, unkempt black hair with hints and streaks of dark violet within. Black leather hugged at his form from toe to hand, but it was a lighter variety- meant to lessen blows, but not fully negate any actual attack. A little feathered earring dangled from his left ear, feather white and gray with beads of a light blue supporting it. “I was up there because I like being up high. It had a nice view. Although, why is it amazing that you’re not dead?” He questioned, head canting to the side as he took in her appearance with blatant wandering eyes. “Do you do dangerous things a lot?”

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." A cautious voice came from above. The sun was behind the crouched figure, casting them as a silhouette so the only visible feature were glowing, predatory amethyst eyes focused curiously upon her. [[A starter from @lainjumps !]]

The light was bright and shining through the trees. The sun was beginning to set, causing all the shadows of the forest to become elongated. Lua walked through the forest, backpack slung over her shoulders. She was alone, as usual, as she traveled quietly through the forest.

After wandering for quite some time, she noticed a small house. It was an odd place to keep a home, so it only spiked her curiosity. She slowly crept towards the house, beginning to feel a bit guilty for being so nosy. Once she came close enough to peek in through the window, a voice spoke out which nearly spooked the girl out of her skin.

“I wouldn’t do that if I were you.”

Lua squealed and jumped around, staring wide eyed at the silhouette. “Oh.. My goodness. I..I.. I’m sorry. Is this your house? Oh, jeez.. I didn’t mean to intrude. I just.. Saw it.. And..” She let out a quiet huff, her face turning a bright red. “I really have no excuse.. Oh.. I’m so sorry.. This is so embarrassing. Please, I didn’t mean to. Don’t.. Hurt me or anything.. I can just leave, okay?”
