Have you ever been forced to suffer through an illness because you couldn't access any medical care? This is what Heba's @heba-213 son Amir is forced to go through.

Heba and her family lost their home due to the war, and now live in a tent. Because of the lack of proper shelter or cleaning supplies, Amir has developed a chronic skin disease. Without access to the treatment Amir needs, the disease has spread greatly throughout his body, and causes him severe pain, so much so that he struggles to sleep.

$3,376/ $30,000 CAD

Heba needs help to afford treatment for Amir, as well as necessities to care for her other children. Right now, Heba wants to reach ashort term goal of $7,000 CAD. However, donations have been slow, and she has only reached around half of this goal.

The Shehab family (@danashehab) has been verified and fundraising for over a year. They, along with @amalashournew have started a new campaign to support their families. Their families have been displaced countless times, and they are currently completely unsheltered without even a tent.

Amal's husband was shot in the foot by IOF soldiers, and Amal herself is pregnant with a fast-approaching due date. When Amal surprised me by telling me she named her newborn after me, I felt like part of my heart had gone to Gaza and remained there ever since.

This part of my heart is now breaking. Amal, who's been on a poor diet because she can't afford better food, is unable to breastfeed baby Mina any longer, and is unable to afford enough formula to compensate, and now both mother and baby are weak and malnourished.

Amal is suffocating from the stress of having to provide for her daughters. Her husband Motasem is doing everything he can (recently, he was almost caught in a bombing while trying to get food) but they're both overwhelmed. I wish there was anything I can do for them.

I'm begging you to donate if you can and share if you can't. I want, more than anything in this world, for these kids to grow up healthy and for their parents to be able to rest.

What is considered an addict is entirely appearances, they think of houseless people when they think of addicts though it is not correlated, they dont think of people who have money to afford safe space to use medication they need to live happily when they think of the word addict

If the only thing they care about is seeing houseless people using medication in public on the street then the immediately obvious solution to them should be to give them a safe space to use medication
