✨Keep shining brightly my star ✨

God it feels like I haven’t been on this blog for years, I probably haven’t. I just wanted to remind myself of how much I loved, or still love, Kim Jonghyun by going through my blog, by going through all those feelings I have for him. I wanted to see and feel those emotions my younger self had when I looked up to the group made of 5 Princes, shinee. I used this blog as a platform of which reminded me just how much I love shinee, how much they mean to me.

My love for shinee began as soon as they debuted, 2 weeks after they first released Replay, the best debut song to date, and I was gone for that sweet boy who had those amazing vocals in that first line. There was just something about that one line, 누난 너무 예뻐서. It is what first led me into the world of kpop. From then on it was just a rollercoaster of laughter and great music that kept my love for shinee going so strong. There were difficult times as there are usually when being in a fandom so big but there was also so much joy in stanning a group that you genuinely loved.

I felt like I always had a crazy connection to shinee because my own birth date is the 25th May, a day precious to the group and a day I always looked forward to. That was the day shinee debut in Korea and became known as a group of 5 young boys. The 25th of May was also another year shinee could hopefully say “Another year done and hopefully many more to come”.

Jonghyun, my star, my bias, my love. 

He’s gone from this world, a world that was a little too cruel to him. He did what he thought was best for him so in turn he could suffer less and for that I will never question why he has done what he has done. 

I feel like this is a goodbye to Jonghyun but I don’t want to say goodbye. I will not say goodbye but instead I’ll say the words Kim Jonghyun deserved to always hear.

My star, keep on shining brightly from a place away from this Earth. 

You have worked so hard. To me, you have done so well.
