Hi. My name is Sinclair Foster-Grlmes. I'm 28 years old, even if I have no idea how that happened. I don't really know how much of this happened. I was dead and now I'm not, so lucky me?

About 20 minutes into the search for him, Sinclair spots Edward stumble out of an alleyway. He's absolutely coated in blood, and is clearly injured. Notably, he's pressing a downright gaudy bandana over some actively bleeding shoulder wound.
Sinclair had no idea what to expect, but ut certainly wasn't their friend brother bleeding profusely whilst also being covered in blood they sincerely hoped wasn't his own. "Edward?" they called, racing down the sidewalk to get to him. "Edward! What the fuck- are you okay?!"

I've been to two of them. They were... okay, I suppose. I didn't die in either of them. That's always a good thing.
I've met alternate versions of myself and my loved ones, too. My favourite was the other Marius. Very kind, very caring, even if he was stubborn and always put his own injuries and mental health secondary to others.
My least favourite was Maddox. It was a different version of my.. ex? I suppose? My ex Sinclair. It stabbed me. Said it liked to see my blood. It wasn't well in the head, but how many of us are?

Amelie needed to clear their head. Staying in their apartment all the time was getting claustrophobic and they promised not to step into Wonderland for their own sake. Just taking through their building should be enough. They even chose very early morning to make sure no one was there. And yet...
And yet Sinclair was on a walk of their own. Their head was everywhere, and they were so restless after sleeping for so long. There wasn't a lot they could do, so they just... started to walk. It was peaceful in the morning. Quiet. Calm. The world was still sleeping, and Sinclair was basking in the tranquility.
Until they walked into something lanky and smelled too much of sour gummy worms. They wrinkled their nose and looked up to see... Amelie. "Watch it!" they snapped without even thinking twice about it.
"I was here first,fuck off."
It scoffs,not even caring it was Sinclair. This wasn't the same person it loved,and they couldn't see through the pain of grief.
"Do you want to get lost? I can make sure you do with that attitude."
Sinclair laughed. "Make sure I get lost, I'm sure," they said, ready to move on, ready to keep walking. Amelie wasn't worth the time. However- "Fuck you. So pissed off at everyone else because you yourself are so miserable." They scoffed then. "I don't have time for you."
"Of course. You're a whole new person now, barely have any care for others."
Fae rolls its eyes,not moving in the slightest. A small part of them wanted to show Sinclair they're serious. To try out the newfound control on them.
"I have plenty of care for those who deserve it. You've been nothing but unpleasant since we met," Sinclair said, grinding their too sharp teeth. Something told them to be wary. What could that thing possibly do to them? Would it be worse than dying? "Hard to believe I used to think of you as a friend. A best friend, from what the pictures have told me."
Fae inhales sharply,as if stabbed. Ouch,that hurt like hell. Tears well in their eyes,even if they try not to show.
"How can you?? You've been pushing everyone away,for fucks sake! Lyf has been swallowed by the Lonely because you refused to talk to them! Are we supposed to treat you like royalty when you are throwing away the second chance at life?? You're acting the same way you were when we both met..."
It starts sniffling. Fuck that, fuck everything,fuck every friendship they tried so hard to build.
"You don't get what it feels to mourn someone twice..."
Sinclair was getting angry. They didn't want to hear any of it. They wanted to just leave it be, but they couldn't help but laugh. "No, I don't," they said simply, shaking their head. "Because I don't let people in. I don't allow myself to get attached because that's how you get hurt. You look at you! I remember thinking how cool you probably were. Now? You're pathetic." They laughed again, rolling their shoulders. "So, what's the move, Cheshire?"
Amelie needs a moment to gather themselves, to calm down enough to speak again. Fuck,this nickname hurts.
"...I should have killed Eric when I had the chance to. Fuck fate."
At this point a self crafted delusion would hurt less than this cruel reality. Maybe it could try forcing Sinclair? Faer strings reach out desperately, wishing they could do something,for once be the one who crafts fate,not suffers at the hands of it.
Eric, again. It brought him up before, claimed he was the one who killed them. Sinclair didn't bring it up during their meet the other day- and they probably wouldn't ever. Why would they believe what Amelie had to say? They felt something wrong, though. Without thinking twice about it, they pulled a knife and slashed the air around them.
Strings?
"What the fuck do you think you're doing?!" Sinclair snapped immediately, holding the knife tightly in their hand. "You- you're one of those things, aren't you? A weaver. A fucking spider."
It jumps back slightly, letting a slight whimper when one of the strings was impacted. That's certainly new.
"Was even before all of this. Your precious little brother is heading the same path,too,did you know?"
And yet, despite all the pain,the strings kept reaching out, trying to stop Sinclair from whatever they're doing. Self defense? Maybe. Or maybe just a spider trying to trap a fly.
"Then I'll just have to make sure he doesn't end up like you!" Sinclair said, feeling the strings attempting to ensnare them. With each swipe of their knife, they got closer to Amelie.
Then it hit them. Like a bus, like a ton of bricks.

They dreamt it. The memory played so clearly in their mind, and they knew Amelie's next move.
They knew how it ended.
With a positively manic laugh, they charged forward before Amelie could move and buried their knife deep, deep into its chest, right where faer heart should have been. Though Sinclair wasn't so sure it had one. With a snarl, Sinclair twisted the knife. A new might in their eyes, a rush they hadn't felt in so long. They laughed in its face, yanking the knife free before plunging it into them once again.
So this is how dying feels like? Gods, their chest hurts so bad. They can feel the blood pouring out of it, it's so cold. It feels so weak. Their knees buckle,but Amelie can barely feel their body hit the ground at this point. Suddenly, their world is cold,dark and quiet.
Sinclair pulled the knife free, staring at the body. They smiled brightly. Laughed even more, running their fingers through their hair. "I can't believe it," they said, kneeling down next to the corpse. "You shouldn't have fucked with me, Ame. Should've just walked away." The laughter sounded absolutely mad... and then the laughter turned into violent screaming and sobbing as the weight of what they did crashing down on them fast.
"I'm sorry," they said to the body before getting up and running. They needed to get home. They needed to get back to their auntie. Auntie would make everything better. Would make it go away.
