What people don’t get is when you comment on a post on here you’re not talking to an audience or to generalized presence or the void the way you are when making a post on here, you are talking directly to the person who made the post, to me. you are plopping down onto my lap slinging your arms around my neck looking into my eyes and saying whatever you just said bc it is my post and I am the only one getting an alert about it. You are speaking to me. And I’m going to murder you.

Okay the screencap from my last post made me realize:

Zenigata's coat is visibly too small for him. I'm no expert, but just look at that fabric pucker. It's most pronounced when he's got his arms crossed, but you can still see it in more neutral positions. And this is all with the front of his coat open. The thing is already at 100% of the capacity it's ever gonna have. It just doesn't fit.

The design characterization. Yeah, here's a guy who buys cheap, off-the-rack clothes that don't actually come in sizes large enough for him and either doesn't notice or doesn't care when they don't fit.

Doylist: Zenigata always wears his coat open because that's his usual design. Watsonian: Zenigata always wears his coat open because he literally cannot close it.
