Greetings, and Welcome.

This is the land of the shining sun, a Phighting! au inspired by egobworder. I'm mod Bloxxy, also known as @badlydrawnphighting. I'll be running this blog with mod Pen, @maple-monarch. Non art/non ask posts will be tagged with #yapping, and art posts will be tagged with #drawing

So what is this about anyways?

Well in short, its a Medieval AU. Going more in depth, crossroads is now a kingdom ruled by Firebrand, with other kingdoms ruled by other deities still existing. They have lore but... you'll have to find that out yourself. The au was initially cobbled together by me, and we ended up adding more to it until it became a whole big thing. It's composed of a mix of pre existing skins (sometimes with our own additions) and AU variants made to fit this universe. Read more for the cast list!

Pure Gemstone Hmm? That Sounds so Pretty! (and oddly familiar)

What Effect Would Gemstones Have for Biograft Material?

/ooc the Reason I'm Saying oddly Familiar is That one of My Hyperfixations has People in it Made From Pure Gemstone (it's called houseki no kuni (or land of the lustrous in english) if want to check that out)

"It was! It remains working and very polished to this day. Trust me, I see it in action sometimes. As for the effect, well it doesn't really have any. It ended up being similar to the stone Biograft."

Mod bloxxy here! I actually watched a bit of land of the lustrous, it was a pretty good anime for what I saw! I wasn't inspired by that, but it is a neat concept. I just thought lord pwnatious would be the type to own a fancy schmancy biograft lmfao

So Intriguing! hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... do Other Materials HAve Differing Effects When Animated?

"Why, of course they do! Metal isn't a very good home for spirits, so I don't use it. Wood is usually used in biografts made for manual labor, and stone is used in biografts made for battle! Only the richest of the rich can afford these porcelain biografts, most other servant biografts are made of wood as well."

There is a pause, letting the info settle before he adds on.

Once, I had a custom order for some 'Pwnatious' fella, they wanted a biograft made of pure gemstone!"

Can that thing speak, Exorspace?

I'm just asking, no need to be threatened.

"...They're interesting, but I warn you his tangents are long."

"INDEED I CAN."

The Biograft speaks up, with a delighted Exorspace following up.

"Well! Its simple really, someone makes one of these whenever a new pair of hands is needed, I animate it, and bam! new house servant! They're for sale too but, you'd have to be pretty rich to afford one! usually only businesses own one."

Exor pauses only briefly, grinning before continuing on his explaination.

"My own personal biograft's name is Exograft! He helps with my research and does errands for me. As for the dolls, they're made of porcelain, so they're very intracate and fragile! At least the house ones are. I've animated a few of other materials, but porcelain is best! especially for someone of my status."

....So, what now?

The voice piped up.

This askblog is kinda stagnant so i have to stir the pot\\

"Now? Well, I've plans to meet with Pheonix soon...but this is a situation to look into. I'm not entirely sure what else to tell you, though you all are indeed a curious bunch."

"HUZZAH!"

"Wh- Ego! Get back here, where are you even-?!"

Ego is seen racing out of the room and down the hall, leaving Siakit, Exorspace and the Biograft alone with the orb.

"...Well I certainly don't trust YOU with this, Exorspace. I suppose I can stick around for a while more."

"HEY-!"

SHOW ME WHAT THAT ORB DO BABY

"...What?"

Siakit gives said orb an odd look.

"First off...you're in the orb. Second, why do you sound a lot like that warden from the desert kingdom-? But uh...stranger..."

huh. also, What's That Absolutely Adoorrable Thing There?

"Absolutely adorable-? What are you talking about? Only thing there is...the Biograft-?"

Exorspace gasps with excitement, more than happy to show off his lovely creation.

"AH! Of course they mean my lovely biografts. Each one is summoned personally by me! Mainly because I'm the only one who can do it! They're servants mostly! But I have my own personal one of course, he was the first one I ever summoned!"

Exor wipes a nonexistant tear from his eye.

"Ah, they grow up so fast…"

"...This would be a regular servant, then. I've seen your personal one. You...can definitely tell its his."

... This Happens alot?

“Indeed! Exor and Sia are often at each other's throats. Speaking of, I should probably break them apart.“

Ego then turns around and swiftly sticks his bword between the two.

“CEASE THIS MEANINGLESS DRIVEL, NOW.”

This seems to stop the two for the time being, Sia scoffing and dusting himself off.

"Like I said. He's been harassing me from the moment he showed up here. It's only fair I fight back."

I seeeee... I'll Definately Keep That in Mind Siakit.

"About Ego? Well...Yes, most questions about the place are something he could tell you. As for the Library and such...well...it's our only leads so far. I'm not too worried myself since..you all seem harmless enough."

"Ah that reminds me! I came here for a reason!"

Actual cement brick sfx as Exor turns to Sia. He points, and a strange looking being, just slightly shorter than the group emerges from seemingly nowhere.

"GO, MY BIOGRAFT!"

"YES, CREATOR."

Siakit yelps as he's promptly tackled, and a fight breaks out among the three of them. Ego simply sighs and returns his attention to you.

"...Don't worry about them they'll sort this out on their own. Happens often."

Anything about talking, self-concious orbs?

"Well...we don't really have any information on you currently. Looking for it here, with all these books...it'll definitely be a while before we can get that done. I'm curious, so I'll definitely be looking into it on my off time."

He pauses for a moment.

"Otherwise, I would say we could speak to Huntlaser on the matter. I know the past few years since retirement he's been looking into magic. Perhaps he'd know...something for later, I suppose."

Anyways, Sence I don't Know Where We are and I'm Fairly Certain no One Else in This Orb does Either, Mind Telling Us That? Maybe an Short Explanation on What This Place is about as Well?

“This place? Oh, well this is his ever burning radiance’s- firebrands kingdom!”

Ego perks up, a big grin on his face.

“It’s called crossroads, a symbol of unity for the people! Right now, we’re in the library, holding hundreds of books!”

"...Ego is the best to go to for...enthusiastic information. He's quite a fan of the gods."

"You attempt to get anything done when you've got someone constantly trying to send you to the other side. I turn a corner and he's there with a new plan to try and take me down. At this point I swear it's personal-"

"That's because it IS!"

"...What'd I even do to you?"

"A lot!"

It doesn't seem like Exorspace will elaborate right now.

Oooh! I wanna learn more about what you do, Exorspace!

"What I do? Well, I'm an exorcist of course! Buuuut I also dabble in magic- making cursed dolls like biograft, and eldritch study!"

He seems happy to explain, before gesturing to Siakit beside him.

"My main target is actually this guy over here!"

"I don't know why you even bother, I'm the main healer here. I swear, I can't go a day without him practically jumping me."

There's a pause, Siakit glaring back at the other.

"Don't even know what I've done to deserve this other than...die somehow."

Exorspace seems to glare at Siakit for a moment

"Don't touch me. Anywho, of course I make things interesting! I'm Exorspace after all!"

Siakit merely scoffs, meanwhile Ego is up to answer.

"Well, it should be your first moments awake, considering Exorspace didn't make you!"

"That and they don't recall being conscious beforehand-or at least...there was no communication beforehand."

The voice expressed curiosity.

"What?? No! My work is modelled after people! Maybe I could use this thing for a core, but I've never actually seen it before!"

"...This is Exorspace. A pain in the neck."

"Im not JUST a pain in the neck! Im a royal pain in the neck. Exorspace, lead magical researcher, creator of biograft and much much much much more!"

"...Keep talking and I'll do it again."
