hi!! i love your art it's beautiful! i was wondering if you had any recommendations for good high school art competitions or how to find some (i'm a bit discouraged lol) if not thanks anyways love u!

hey pal!!!!! I didn’t submit to a lot of art competitions in High School, so I don’t know of much but there’s:

I would also keep an eye out for local/statewide competitions. In High School, I mostly had my work in local exhibitions at my museum and entered a few local/state competitions put on by businesses/organizations. Just keep an eye out for people who are just trying to get free labor out of young artists. 

Also I’m a huge supporter of attending Pre-College Programs. I went to the Minneapolis College of Art and Design’s Precollege in the Summer of 2016 and 2017, and it was such a life-changing experience. Most Art Schools have these programs and a lot offer scholarships to attend too! I had a full scholarship for both years at MCAD. 

Here’s a list of Pre-College Programs I compiled for High School Students. I tried to put only programs that offered Scholarships. The list has location/length/programs offered/cost/application and scholarship requirements so I would recommend checking that out. (I spent a lot of time on it lol)
