She hadnt slept well in the slightest thanks to jet lag, overthinking and weirdly vivid dreams. She’d found herself a few times hovering outside of Perry’s door, wanting to go in and maybe curl up beside him. But she knew she couldn’t, it’d only confuse him. And herself.
So instead she waited for the dark to start to thin before she got up, typing her robe around her body and hair up as she padded to the kitchen. Putting on a pot of coffee and looking out over the garden, lost in thought. Replaying her dreams.
