I find it wonderful and brilliant that Donal Finn played the romantic hero in both SAS Rogue Heroes, where his sweet memory haunts the narrative of a gay main character, and in The Other Bennet Sister, where his yearning sets new and unachievable records for all subsequent period drama boyfriends
Now I just need to watch Young Sherlock to see him slowly and methodically expose Arthur Conan Doyle as a slash shipper

If you haven't already, I highly recommend watching the new adaptations of The Count of Monte Cristo.
Both are about 60% true to source but the creative liberties they take work out incredibly well imo. I still love the 2002 adaptation regardless of its inaccuracies (baby Henry Cavill has me in a chokehold)

you know that moment in ep5 where Sherlock first suspects his father after finding that button and then he makes up an excuse to go to bed. did anyone else find it very interesting that when sherlock goes to his room, James is just waiting there for him, having made himself very comfortable and at home... no one bats an eye that James is just there, in sherlock's bedroom, waiting for him to turn in for the night?
