this is more or less what my fight to defend the tavern was like. i didnt realize which enemies actually progressed the stages of the fight so it went on for a lot longer than it probably should have. so it started to irk me that irabeth and that group of crusaders were just standing there so uh. yeah i let a few get decimated. xoryth can be a little petty as a treat

I noticed rogues get to sneak attack on their first attack during their sparring session for some reason, when I was reloading to see what happens if you beat him.

Olive is like 5'3 and strength is her dump stat, it makes sense for her to fight dirty. She's also very competitive. He should have seen this coming.

Thirdly, the fact he obviously has romantic feelings for Lann amuses Daeran to no end. Not necessarily because of the feelings, they're irrelevant, but because of the fact that that Lann has not expressed any interest in Leonor, or men in general. Once, Daeran was on wretched pot-washing duty when he spied a very funny little scene; an injured mongrel, eternally shirtless, blood dripping from a deep cut in his scales, and an elf whose darkened hands fly around the wound, applying salve in a way that signals restraint. Leonor had insisted on doing it himself. Leave the healing to me!, he whisper-yelled, only to rush to Lann whose injury looked the worst, obviously. He then proceeded to take his sweet time with it, even for a healer of his caliber; if there is one thing Daeran has to admit, it is that Leonor Medvyed is a damn good healer. But his hands lingered, shook with the attempt to part from Lann's skin when they obviously did not wish to. Like a bug, Leonor blinked a lot, suddenly unsure of himself, advising Lann to try and wear armor. Lann did not seem to to acknowledge the true cause to Leonor's restless energy. He simply took hold of Leonor's wrist and said something Daeran couldn't catch. Leonor lowered his head and nodded, letting go to deal with something else. But his touch lingered as much as propriety allowed. Daeran spied him bringing that hand to his lips when he thought nobody was looking. Now, is he cruel enough to say that he'd seen that? Uncertain. But is he reasonable enough to break Leonor's heart by telling him there is no chance in the whole Abyss Lann would return his feelings? Oh yes.

this would take place during one of the first rests at the Defender's Heart. it actually would take prompting for Xoryth to perform at first and initially would only sing jaunty comedy like Whale of a Tale while they built their confidence in it. they know a lot of songs from wandering, but havent spent any time performing them.

Playing Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous! Meet my aasimar Luci, a cleric of Desna. He hates being stereotyped as lawful, but is good at heart. He values the freedom and choice to do things so choosing the Angel Mythic Path is a bit of a struggle for him because it circles back to aasimars being expected to act all lawful good like the angels do and the fact that this responsibility was thrust upon him by Lariel, but he belives that following this path will do the most good to the people around him so he puts up with it. He's really bad at fighting so he'd rather inspire other people to fight for him. He's better at buffing and debuffing. He likes seeing the gleam of hope in other people's eyes.

He believes in Desna because she's an ancient being and isn't much interested in Iomedae. He finds the paladins of Iomedae to be too stiff and strict with themselves so Seelah is a fresh breath of air for him. He wears a purple-blue scarf

He has claws / talons from his demonic heritage and is a little self-conscious of it because of how different it is from the rest of his body. He also has a pair of small vestigial wings on his back that he can't move. He dislikes people seing these parts of him. He has a little crush on Lann because of how much he tries to carve his path despite of his origins.

I'm thinking of romancing Arueshalae since they're both followers of Desna and he would find it admirable that Arueshalae is trying to defy her nature.

@ghostwise you’re right it totally slipped my mind to show the display of light bc in game I was just hitting dialogue options. and tbh it would’ve just been like aang showing the air bending toy. except Lann is upset bc xoryth didnt show chief sull but yeah they’ll show the prelate for manipulative reasons.

Some pathfinder I've done recently. Some driz and lann sketches, and I decided to make a caviler kc that I named Shira and while in game its a triceratops (there are 0 mods for adding in different beasts) I'm saying she has a rex named Duca and I loves them.

xoryth having a little self-conscious moment that's definitely not related to caring about what daeran thinks of them. and then just a headnod to the fact that almost every bedroll dialogue i had at this point was just cammy finding a new way to call lann ugly. a real hater.

started with just wanting to draw xoryth and woljif playing hackey sack together outside the tavern and just expounded from there. i dont feel like backtracking all the way back to the neathers so hopefully this gets across that xoryth opted to go along with wenduag since she promised to guide them. obviously when she showed her true colors, they took lann instead, but it weighs a bit on their relationship.

did not feel like trimming the dialogue myself so a little copypaste will do. xoryth isn’t a fan of nobles either but they do love a theatrical ho. having permission to loot is also a bit of a novelty.

there was a really cute bard v bard moment with Aranka that's lived in my head rent free this whole time, so ive done my best to panel out how it wouldve gone down for me. aka Xoryth ignores everything in order to challenge the fellow bard in the room. but an inspiring song's an inspiring song, right?? they helped.
