okay ben this, paxton that, whatever whatever, but the most important relationship of this show?? devi and her mom. they had so much growth this season and the look on nalini’s face when devi called her the best mom ever was honestly one of my favorite moments of the show. devi immediately apologized when she felt like she stepped out of line with her mom and dr. jackson and nalini stepped up and apologized when she knew she hurt devi. they still had their highs and lows this season (as mothers and daughters do) but their relationship is improving for the better it’s just really heartwarming to see the change happen.

ultimately, i think benvi are endgame.

paxton has a lot more development to go through as a character, and to finish his arc here... it would feel stilted. ben and devi on the other hand, they challenge each other. great chemistry, back-and-forth banter, the whole enemies to lovers ordeal.

they way they set them up in the finale, too--this season had a devipaxton endgame, but the hurt and anger and the feelings of betrayal coming from both ben and devi just says whatever's between them is not over.
