I just plugged in a printer to use in my room and this immediately printed out. now I have printed this before but honestly don't think I've really looked at it all too much. think God is like "hey remember this I'd like you to do it" or nah?

DO NOT tell me that your dog/cat/any other pet is like your BABY or CHILD. honestly, this drives me up a wall. Children are tiny HUMANS, they have souls and are made in the image and likeness of God. I’m sure your pet is real cute and all but they are not akin to a human child. this might be over-reacting on my part but I am really tired of people de-valuing human life.

I completely agree and understand where you’re coming from. And I’m a psycho dog lover myself. I’ve noticed everywhere lately the value of animal lives have seem to get more attention than for example, abortion still being a thing. A person will cry and protest over a lion getting killed (which I 120% don’t agree with) but sweeps under the rug the amount of lives that are taken due to abortion every year. Idk if this is at all what you were referring to but, it grinds my gears as well.

When I was younger, I wish someone had told me straight-up that not all adults experience “a calling”. That many of them never find particular purpose in a career. That sometimes, their job is just what pays the bills and they have to seek satisfaction and fulfillment elsewhere. 

Because as an adult, this pervasive notion that there exists a perfect path for everyone, that people should love what they do, and that work is meant to function as a vehicle for fulfilling a person’s grand life destiny is not only inaccurate for many of us, it can be toxic.

The ideal is so ingrained that I have to remind myself constantly I’m not a failure because I don’t adore my job, and because I’m not rocking the world with my work. That is okay. 

Sometimes, work is just work. There isn’t always a perfect career path, magically waiting to be discovered. There might not be this THING you were born to do. Sometimes, you discover that what you really want to be when you grow up is “paid”.

And that being paid allows you to do things that you’d rather be doing but can’t (usually) be paid for. Or might not, even after years of hard work.

Which is why we should all work really hard on the 1 vocation we all do have: LOVE.
