Hey, I'm a UK-based TTRPG designer, among other things. This is my sideblog because I am really bad at self promotion. We'll see how that goes.
I tend to make most of my games in their entirety, including layout, illustrations etc. I am the kind of person who thinks of making creative content, whether prose or illustration, with LLMs to be absolutely fucking ridiculous, just to be utterly crystal clear on that point.
I appreciate game jams a lot because they help give me deadlines to structure myself around, so a lot of what's on my itch, found here, was designed for one TTRPG design jam or another. At least at the point I'm posting this.
I also have a lot more covers designed for TTRPGs than I've actually finished or published. I leave the question of whether this is the equivalent of people imagining their OCs doing cool shit rather than writing up to the reader.
The kind of TTRPGs that I try to make tend to be pretty variable, in all honesty, but I am definitely that person who thinks 2 pages of rules and 50 pages of character creation options is an ideal ratio. I also tend to like making TTRPGs that examine layered personas and explore how complex characters can emerge that way.
I also like to give my TTRPGs grounding in something, sometimes absurdly specifically, or maybe try to look at how we ground things to begin with.
Some covers from 2025 I made and liked to round this off.
