Welcome to the 2025 13th Doctor anonymous fic exchange for our favorite good hearted weirdo (all ships & friendships and ratings welcome!)

Rules:

- You must have your form submitted by October 15th. Prompts get sent out October 16th

- In order to receive a fic, you must be willing to give a fic

- Please let admins (@13thFicExchange on Twitter, Thirteenth-Doctor-Fic-Exchange on tumblr, [email protected] email, ) know by November 1st if you cannot/will not be able to complete your fics

- Please send any/all questions about your prompt (i.e. ‘do you mind if I add smut?’ ‘Would you rather the fam or Dan be in the story?’ ‘Whos your second favorite Doctor?’ etc, etc.) Through me via email or DM, and I will pass it along to the prompter.

- Each fic must be at least be at least 1K words

- It must be a completed fic/oneshot. If you want a sequel at a later date fine, but your story MUST be complete and posted between Nov 16-22

- Any Doctor Who or crossover characters can be involved, not just ones from 13s era

Yet again thinking about the implications of Thirteen as the subject of the poem Darkness by Lord Byron, and its final line “she was the universe”.

Because yes the line itself is about darkness becoming all consuming, but the other implication of “she” being the universe in The Haunting of Villa Diodati is that the “she” in question is the Doctor. So that is forever rattling around my brain whenever “the universe” is mentioned by and around Thirteen.

The obvious example of this is “can’t have a universe with no Yaz”.

However, the new Big Finish audio drama just dropped: “Yaz knows I trust her with the universe”.

So, you know…

Thirteen: WHAT?! *takes off jacket* I told you to bring more layers but of course you didn’t listen and now *piles scarves on Yaz* I have to make sure you don’t FREEZE TO DEATH, *takes somebody else’s hat*, how long have you been cold? You should’ve said something sooner.
