So I’m back on neopets after 2 years. Silly me for thinking I can ever quit for good.

I should stop giving my pets away.

What’s the most painless way

to quit neo and give away all my pets and np and items?

Like, obviously I could just go on a “you get a pet! and you get a pet! and you get a pet!” spree, but I’d sort of at least like them to go to people I know? Or give them first dibs? But I don’t wanna deal with the whole application process rigamarole tbh. I did that on subeta and it was overwhelming and awful. But I am also aware that I have a lot of nice pets that people will probably want.

Any thoughts/ideas/suggestions?

I'm about 99% sure I'm going to officially quit neopets. It's been an awesome run, but I've basically quit-without-making-it-official over the past 2 years. I still do dailies, but I have no purpose on the site. I don't think it'll ever fully return at this point. Officially quitting just means giving away all my pets & money to people who will enjoy it more than I do! Will likely make an official post when I get home from vacation.

So after the shitstorm that was 2016, I decided to end it on a positive note by officially adopting Strudel, who I’ve been fostering since July. Best thing to happen to me all year. He’s my first dog that isn’t a “family” dog and he’s my precious child.

Also, I didn’t forget about my giveaway. I drew a winner & contacted them, but they haven’t responded. If they don’t respond by Friday, I’ll draw again.

GIVEAWAY

Hello, friends! I’ve kind of abandoned neo-tumblr. Gotten pretty busy irl and also going through a “meh” phase with neo. (You know.. just logging in once a day for dailies, sometimes not even bothering with that) Anyway, I’m not ready to downsize on the site, but I am looking to downsize my collection of stuff irl. After moving three times in the span of 4 years, and another move on the horizon, I’m just sick of having so much stuff!

While I still like these plushies, I’ve had them i storage for well over a year and it’s a waste and I’m ready to part with them. They’re all tag-less but in otherwise good condition. One caveat being that they might smell faintly of smoke. I can’t smell it now, but I might just be immune. My house kinda sorta caught on fire 3 weeks ago and everything I owned smelled for awhile. But I think they’re okay now?

I’m giving them away (plus the Vaporeon and Flareon). I think I’m going to do a giveaway and just send all 5 to one person. It’s gonna be short. I’d like to ship them out at the start of 2017.

good news: new phone came today, my tomato plant is finally flowering.

bad news: i just had to pay $600 for rent this month because my 3rd roommate backed out at the last second and dicked us over and now i have $245 to my name and lots of expenses.

i now regret spending the birthday money my dad gave me on superfluous things i’ve been wanting!

The animal shelter lets me take dogs out for test drives.

No, but really, I want this dog so bad but I can’t because it’s just not really plausible at this point in time so I just chill with him as often as possible.

my future woodland aisha, she lives by a hot spring and sips the water to replenish the water that has cooled down! she nibbles on herbs and flowers and makes wonderful combinations, if you spot her she will sell you pouches of her favorite teas she’s come across. i’m going to be redrawing her (gee my sister said she has an ugly face) but i’m excited and wanted to share!

i think Pirate was one of the PB colours that were auto-converted bc of wearables, so that would explain why you’ve never seen one!

which is a total cop out because they left some royals UC despite clothes. honestly i wonder what the reason behind leaving some royals UC and auto converting others was.
