I think a lot of the “break up” lyrics come from being forced apart and not being able to be seen in public. “What if you’re someone I just want around” to me is about how Harry can’t have Louis around in public, can’t show off their love

I mean, very literally, “what if I’m someone you won’t talk about” - idk how anyone who’s a Larrie reads that as being about anything except for their PR situation.

I’ve also heard theories that “Adore You” is for Louis, not only about love but allowing him to stay closeted if that’s where he feels safe. Harry letting him know their love is strong enough to withstand every PR denial and stunt and every “girlfriend” mention.

No offense but who even knows what L&H had planned for 2020? They could have planned to come out and scheduled lots of interviews and shows and events to celebrate and then the virus just went and wiped any and all of possibility of that happening and do try your best not to think about this being the reality and that with every passing second that they don't go through with it the more the doubt and pressure that is constantly being whispered into their ears could be changing their minds/plans and we have absolutely no control or influence on any of it because we have no idea what’s actually going on. :)
