So does keeping secrets run in the West family?
I mean, let’s look at it.
Francine left while she was pregnant and didn’t tell Joe = Secret
Barry didn’t tell Iris about his powers in season one = Secret
Iris doesn’t tell Nora about her powers that she has = Secret.
Though the last two aren’t the same as the first one, it’s still a secret.
And another thing. Iris does to Nora what Barry did to her.
Barry didn’t tell Iris about his powers and now Iris doesn’t tell Nora about hers.
And I’ve been rewatching some of the episodes for my story that I’m writing and I noticed something.
Every time Iris barks an order, she never says please or says it nicely. She just says it like she’s the boss of them and she can do whatever they want.
Oh. And I recently read an article where CP talked about portraying a character of color of the Flash or something like that and she says, and I quote, “leading female” and “a hero of her own” to which I said
The only reason she’s a “leading female” is because they sidelined Cisco and Caitlin, which Caitlin had been the leading lady before WA had to come in, and because WA was forced upon us.
And how is she “a hero of her own”? She always find trouble, season 4 episode 1, and never can seem to save the day.
That’s Barry and Caitlin’s job.
The point being that while CP isn’t really ugly looking, you know what is?
Iris’ character development.
She’s bossy and controlling and I feel bad for Nora who said she spends the rest of her life together with her mother.
Iris should’ve died in 3x22.
I’m never getting over that.
If Iris claims that her and Barry have been in love since that night she found him crying, then her relationship with Eddie was a lie. Because it would mean she loved Barry not Eddie.
And the one thing I didn’t like was Iris’ decision to get with Barry after finding out about Earth-2 and the future article.
Those aren’t things you can based your life on. There’s a reason that on Earth-2 they’re together and on Earth-1 they’re not.
And the future is never set in stone. Things happen along the way and the future changes accordingly. Just because it says Iris WestAllen doesn’t mean that things will go smooth from then until that article date.
