The University of Kentucky (where the “Asbury Revival” took place) ordains female pastors, and spoke very little if at all about God’s word during the so-called revival.

I’m all about worship. But to call this a revival is probably misleading.

These are my red compost worms i’ve had about a year and half. After about six months i would say i got more familiar with the consistency of wet/dry/ grit/food ratios they needed (its a thang). We keep this vented container in our laundry room. The casings are great fertilizer, and rival the compost pile. 🪱

Organic Mung beans sprouting. Day 3. Soaked em’ for 10 mins, rinsed, then put in tray w holes on bottom for drainage. Then slipped in plastic ziplock bag w holes on top. Put in lasagna pan for-no messy. Rinsing a few times daily. I wonder how long the roots will get.

It has been really important to me to be a responsible producer, and wisely manage/share our abundance. Over the years it has been many things; seeds, eggs, tomato plants and other things.

I remember a tomato plant stand in Pensacola, Florida (where i used to live)…and early on before my dreams of living ecologically had sprouted…having this rich fascination and inspiration from this little stand. It was grubby, and homegrown and wonderful.

I like to tell people i am part-Raccoon because i dont really mind getting my hands dirty, rolling up my sleeves, and finding the good in the earthiest of places. I plan on passing these values on to my daughter. But, as important as they are (and stewardship is!), it is no where near as important as developing and fostering my love of God in her.

Jan. 6 Rioter First to Be Acquitted of Obstruction, Convicted on Other Charges

An Alabama man was acquitted on a charge of obstruction but was convicted on other charges for his role in the January 6 Capitol riot.

“I pled the blood of Jesus…on the floor” said Black. A native of Leeds, Alabama, Black has been acquitted but is still facing 15 years prison time for various other charges. God love you brother.

Veggie Champuru w/ organic kale from my kitchen garden. I’ve been kinda obsessed with that National Geographic Blue Zones cookbook that came out several years ago, and this tastes absolutely amazing. It’s crunchy and salty and chewy and warm, fresh, delicious.
