Morty loves animals!

We all know how compassionate Morty is when he's not commiting mass murder, and a recurring detail in the show is his adoration for animals, so here's a compilation of that for absolutely no reason

[S1Ep2] He loves his dog so much! I bet he misses him :с And I also find it really sad that he had to let go of someone who loved him unconditionally, considering how no one else in Morty's life showed him much affection. It might be the reason he likes dogs so much - they can't make you feel like you're not good enough for them to love you. I like to think that he visits Snuffles/Snowball from time to time

[S2Ep2] Morty kept his interest in animals even in Roy and apparently spent a lot of time learning about birds as a hobby (I've taken an interest in birds too recently, he's literally me)

[S3Ep8] I think Beebo counts as an animal?..

[S3Ep8 and S7Ep10] A parallel between Morty and Diane! I wonder if Rick thinks about this similarity between them too... Wish we got more Morty and Diane interactions in the fear hole

[S3Ep8] Look at him being a nerd. He likes insects too!

[S4Ep5] And this whole thing he did for the planet of snakes, he even gave the snake he bought a name (I don't think Morty knows how to handle snakes though...)

[S4Ep8] Morty giving the rat his tube was so cute!! He didn't let Rick kill it and was willing to hold his breath for a while to keep this little creature alive, although it wasn't the biggest concern for him and Rick at the moment

[S5Ep3] This one is cute too, even if he was helping with the fire mostly to impress Planetina

[S7Ep6] I... am not sure Morty consented to this, but he looks happy?..

[S8Ep1] And of course Morty's dogs from the matrix! He had two of them! I bet he took really good care of these guys :D

[S8Ep1] He's so sad about his finches :c I think he found a lot of comfort in taking care of animals in the matrix, especially after he lost all his friends. It must have helped him feel less lonely. Also, @dirty-bear-rick-sanchez pointed out a cool detail about this line - Morty might have kept his knowledge about birds from his "bird-watching phase" in Roy! I don't know why I made this. Consider it a Morty appreciation post (and maybe something for me to write a fic about lol)
