Narratively, I really like the whiplash of Rick being so nice last episode vs. him being so so horrible here because that‘s really what it‘s like living with an alcoholic. They can be the sweetest most caring person when they‘re sober/not THAT drunk, but then turn into the worst, borderline unrecognizable version of themselves when they‘re DRUNK drunk. This feels like the drunkest we‘ve seen Rick since the Vindicators. And it really puts into perspective just how drastically alcoholism can change someones personality. This to me is the best portrayal so far of his alcoholism as an actual disease that ruins him and everyone around him as opposed to it being a quirky character trait. This time they made sure to empathize that he would have never acted this way sober
Omg these childish fucks
prob not meant to be funny but “evil boy… wicked boy…” made me laugh
I'm so obsessed with the delivery of the last line because it's reminiscent of the earlier seasons but it's also so obviously a shell of it. It refuses to lean into the humour. It also refuses to disrupt it. THAT'S SO REAL THIS EPISODE IS SO REAL FUCK
im scared why have all 4 episodes this season been really good what’s going on where’s my one per season absolutely terrible and painful to watch through episode
cloth mothers/wire mother
everyone say thank you season 9 for bringing back little boopa
NOOO MY LITTLE BOOPAAAAAAH 😢😢😢😢😢
I‘m gonna cry guys NOBODY FUCKS WITH MY SWEET LITTLE GRANDSON
IT‘S MY FAVORITE THING IN THE WORLD WHEN THEY‘RE JUST TWO SILLY GIRLS
Part of me is scared that the reason we got so many wholesome Rick and Morty moments in this episode is because they’re going to absolutely fucking decimate us later on
This is what happens when you set your friend's contact to Rick (@justalittleghowost)
He also has my contact set as Morty so theres this too
i didnt really care for the new ep fsgjfkkgbdkdhgffj it felt kind of repetitive to me like in terms of we’ve already seen this sort of situation with rick finding a place that resembles escapism, becoming obsessed with it and ultimately ruining it 100 times before. ialso just dont like plots where the whole thing is that it’s something fake/futile that technically never happened
Hai first post on this blog :)
Ive decided these two are very protective of prime morty because who isn’t
Evil Morty protects Morty
ok canonically he wouldn't even bother dodging the bullet cause he has the shield but he looks epic (even though I'm just seeing he's off balance but oh well,,, little practice
