the other people, he could do without, but the large space at least makes it so that their spot (that leona so kindly asked the previous occupants to vacate) is still relatively secluded; with another bite, he finishes off the sausage he’d taken from the catering table earlier.

“not too bad.” folding his hands behind his head, leona leans against the tree as he turns his gaze upwards, eyeing the drifting stars and planets with some interest. 

“s’better organized than the events our school does, anyway.” 

 A noise of confirmation as his mouth is currently stuffed with food. A pleased grin as he wipes his mouth. “ yeah no ‘participation’ or set up. ” He’ll lift head lifting up to look at the stars, before looking back down to grab another snack from the plate. It was pretty relaxing just being able to sit down and look over the scenery. “ It’s all done no problem, lucky us huh? ”

            which wasn’t a lie . but he couldn’t say that he most definitely happen to walk more this way because of the sound of singing . curiosity was sure to get him in trouble one day . but not today ! 

            a shocked expression goes across his face , almost offended . 

          “ what do you mean it’s not your kind of thing ?! you just were singing and you were great ! i think that’s more then enough to be your kind of thing . you could um … join the pop music club or something ! then you can used to singing in front of people . cater and i are here and that’s … well , most of the club . so we are missing one anyways ! ”

Fame might be something to get him in some get rich quick scheme but you couldn’t trust fame for long. It’s fleeting and depends on other people and he’s not gonna leave it to chance. But for fun? No, No Definitely not.

 “Not my kinda thing to go out and do some big performance.” His tryouts for the SDC was more than enough of his ventures in that front. “Not for free anyway.” He says with a grin. “ But if you want some help I don’t mind. ”

  “You gotta be fuckin’ kiddin’ me.”

“Wait free doughnuts?!” he’s got a bucket, he’s gathering as much as he can. This is the best day of his life.

resurrectiun​:

     “I can walk by myself. I do lots of things by myself.”  She huffs, tugging at the talisman that dangles in front of her face to shield her forehead from any additional attacks.  “What does that make you, then?”

She has half a mind to mention that she is more than properly equipped to deal with these supposed weirdos too, but she’s sensible enough to realize such claims would likely be taken in jest. Qiqi will just have to prove that to him at some point.

     “Dunno.”  She replies flatly.  “I don’t remember. Did you forget that? Is there something interesting here?”  

   “Makes me a pal that’s what it does”  Even if she claims to be able to do that by herself, and he knows he was too at his age, and maybe in good faith he couldn't let himself leave a lil girl all by herself in some shady alleyway. 

     His tail would sway, as he looks over the girl then back at their surroundings. “Nah, I didn’t forget what I’m doin here. Lottsa people toss some junk out that is still useful so, you could usually find something worth keepin’. ”

     “Yep. I forgot. Forgot to be careful too, I guess.”  Qiqi shakes her head as if to tell herself ‘too bad’. She’s quite nonchalant about her current circumstance, even despite his obvious concern. Forgetting is an apt excuse for her, and it should come as no surprise. Why he insisted she be more mindful is lost on her.

     “Why are you walking around out here by yourself, then?”  There’s not much of note in a shady alley like this as far as she can tell. But maybe she was drawn here for a reason, and if he was already here, surely he’s got one too.  “Maybe Qiqi will remember.”

  “I’m bigger than you so I can be out walkin’ by myself.” A little and light poke to her forehead. “lil miss forgetful huh. We should probably get outta here. Who knows what kinda weirdos are running around. Luckly you just got me. ” 

A chuckle, as he looks around. Didn’t seem anything too dangerous, if needed she seemed light enough for him to carry out of trouble. “You looking around for something interesting too huh?”

     “Why… Am I here…?”  Qiqi taps a finger against her cheek, though her expression would suggest she isn’t too bothered by her trespassing. Eventually, she simply shrugs her shoulders. There’s only one answer she can give.

     “Dunno. I… guess I forgot. Sorry.”

  “Hold up ya shouldn't be walking around out here by yourself anyway.” He’ll kneel down by her, making sure she didn’t have any injuries. She seemed ok but those bandages sure were concerning. 

“Ya forgot? Geez, you really gotta be more careful-”

[ map ]: the receiver is looking for directions in a strange city; the sender offers their assistance to get them to where they need to go.

[ umbrella ]: a sudden downpour catches the coatless receiver off guard, and the sender helpfully offers some shelter.

[ quench ]: the sender offers the receiver some water from their bottle on a hot afternoon, after spotting that they seem thirsty & exhausted.

[ contact ]: the stranded receiver asks for use of a phone, and the sender happily assists.

[ accompany ]: the receiver is nervous to walk alone on a dark night, and the sender offers to walk with them.

[ protect ]: the sender spots the receiver being harassed, bullied, or attacked in the street, and rushes to assist.

[ shoulder ]: the receiver is crying in a public place, and the sender offers comfort.

[ missing ]: the receiver is looking everywhere for a lost item, and the sender offers to help them find it.

[ space ]: the receiver is finding their environment overwhelming and stressful, and the sender offers to help them find somewhere quieter.

[ join ]: the receiver has been stood up in a restaurant, and the sender comes over to offer them some company.

[ care ]: the receiver has experienced a medical episode or an injury in a public place, and the sender accompanies them to a doctor/the hospital so that they aren’t on their own.

[ loan ]: the receiver is a little bit short for something they urgently need to buy, and the sender offers to pay it forward.

“A’ight.”  He had half a mind to just forget this interaction.  But, keeping his sister away from the kitchen.  He couldn’t put a price on that either…

“I’m sure I’ll find other things she’s ordered.”  Seles really liked using Zelos’s card.

  “Cool pleasure doin’ business with ya.” He’s hoping this guys sister keeps buying random stuff, he’ll be lucky to nab some more useful items that way without having to spend too much.

  He doesn't know about the conversion rate of dust here but from how much Leona’s given him.. he can probably get a better deal. “How about we split that in half and I’ll make sure she never sees it.” He don't even know who she is so that'll be simple enough. Stand mixer would make cooking way easier.

               while ruggie was good at sneaking around , ace was oddly observant for someone who seemed to not care ever . reaching over , he grabs the bag in the other’s hand , tugging it back towards him . a smirk is on his face and he can’t help the small laugh that falls from him . 

              “ c’mon , ruggie ! you gotta do better than that with me . i’m not just a silly first year , ya know ? ”

“ Shyeheehee so it is you.”  

A snicker as he let’s go of the bag, letting Ace have it back. “ Just wantin’ to double check and make sure. ” Of course, he had some idea that it was Ace Trappola. But eh, it would have been boring just coming over and saying hi, way more exciting this way. And if wasn’t Ace, then he got a free bag of whatever was in there. So it was a win either way.

“ It means no worries,” He’d hum the strangely familiar tune , his hands slipping into his pocket as he strolled through the empty street. He wasn’t strapped for cash just yet but he’d rather keep a good amount tucked away for a rainy day. Maybe he’d take some jobs up aside from doin the usual for Leona. There was a way to get your own place right? He couldn’t see Leona grabbing a house anytime soon so he might as well start saving.

Now. He wasn’t too surprised to see so many familiar faces. Leona was here, Kalim was here. So at that point he kind of expected more. This however, wasn’t what he expected.
