As much as I love spring recitals as an excuse to let everyone show off what they’ve learned, making all the arrangements for it is beyond stressful.

Anyone want to book chair rentals for me? I’m this close to hiring an event coordinator.

Screw chair rentals, make everyone bring a blanket and sit on the floor, it’ll be like a little picnic.

Nope, so not on my list of things I see myself doing all year long. I love the Holidays, I love Christmas but that song… If you hear it 12 months in a row, I think I’d be ready to never ever celebrate Christmas again just so I don’t have to hear it no more. Ha, come by the store at the end of December and you still get to see that.

I think I’m gonna start singing it whenever I come in now, just to show my love.

Hey, you put the idea in my head, can’t help that I’m thinking about it once it’s in there. But haven’t really made up my mind yet. I mean, think about all the dust that will collect everywhere. And I love me some Christmas music but having to listen to All I want for Christmas every single day… not really like that idea.

I did, but I didn’t think you’d like it! Oh come on Sammy, you wouldn’t want to run around singing and squealing along to some Mariah Carey? I think it’d be funny as all hell to come in there and see you grumpily singing it.

Huh, I hadn’t thought about that but it actually sounds pretty cool. A Hallmark movie type of bookstore, I love it! It will bring in tourists for sure. And then I’m not talking about the pirate loving ones we got all year round already, nope, a whole ‘nother kind. Besides, aren’t there like stores that sell all things Christmas all year round, so why not have a bookstore that’s in Christmas spirit all year round. But then again, part of the fun of the season is putting up the decorations so I’ll keep your offer in mind in case I decide to put all the decorations away again after the Holidays.

Wait .... You’re actually considering it? if you’re considering it, you might as well go ahead now and contact Hallmark. I’m sure they’d like the opportunity. Yeah you do that Sam, let me know if you want my help. If not... Then I’ll gladly just get a latte and watch you explain to people why your decorations are up past April.

Finally finished putting up all the decorations. I always forget how much I’ve got until I have to get it all from the attic. Took me 5 trips up there. So not looking forward to the Holidays being over cause I have to store everything away again. Maybe I should just leave it all out all year long, could be cute for the bookstore, right? A little bit of Christmas all year long, that be cool. And it saves me from having to put everything away. I say win-win.

Unless you want to be a bookstore that could definitely be put into a Hallmark movie at any point in the year, I would suggest that might not be the best idea. But, if you want help at the end of the holiday season, I’d be more than happy to help you lug all that stuff up to the attic.
