The Foxhole Court P.2

I’m still working on putting together a breakdown but the fact that I learnt so much by making this is making it hard every time I implemented something I learnt a better way of doing it which is probably why it took 5 months to build lmao. Even now the urge to rebuild everything from the ground up is strong, and I’m ngl that urge will probably win. Mainly on a texturing and optimisation level though it’ll still have the same structure.

Anyways I’ve started blocking out the exterior and the sheer size of this thing is insane. (65 THOUSAND SEATS NORA??? THATS TO MANY SEATS!!! Damn near set my desk on fire rendering these the fan was running so hot) I will be trying to post more WIPs though, and maybe a fly through animation of the place but it may kill my mac so no promises.

I’m not gonna lie it’s borderline embarrassing how long I’ve worked on this that I’ve spend 2 days tryna figure out how to caption it to make it less embarrassing but oh well. It also made me realise the banner says exy ncaa instead of ncaa exy but at this point that’s none of my business

Short of being inside Nora’s head here is a (mostly) (I think) biblically accurate and to scale model of the Foxhole Court and Nora I have a several questions.

Also rendered so many images of this I had like 50 cameras in the scene would y’all care if I just did a photo dump.

God I have so many things to say about working on this I had to restart like 8 times it was a mess but if I start I won't be able to stop Imao though if anyone's interested in a breakdown of all the sections and materials I would be more than happy to make a post yapping about it.

I really wanna expand this and add the ticket both/ food stalls as well as all the behind the scenes areas like the locker room, foyer, foxes lounge, ect. I’ve been slowly mapping out where everything is so shout out to Neil for being overly anxious and needing to map out the layout and exits of every room he walks into.

I recently had the series “The Raven Cycle” recommended to me, and while reading them, I noticed that sometimes the Latin translations were wrong, and it started bothering me a little. So I did the only rational thing and wrote some down, corrected it, and gave it a grade. Specifically, I focused on Ronan’s statements and translations because he’s supposed to be the top student in Latin. I’m going to say up front that I’m only in Latin 3 so far, but I’m pretty sure that my edits are correct. I’m also going to say that if I was teaching this class Ronan would not be passing based on his translations. He’d probably do really good on vocabulary tests though, I had to look up some of these words.

I know this is going to make me sound pretensions but I have to get it off my chest. I feel an unimaginable rage when someone posts a photo and is like "this picture looks like a renaissance painting lol" when the photo clearly has the lighting, colors and composition of a baroque or romantic painting. There are differences in these styles and those differences are important and labeling every "classical" looking painting as renaissance is annoying and upsetting to me. And anytime I come across one of those posts I have to put down my phone and go take a walk because they make me so mad

After a really tough game in which Andrew blocked a last second goal for a Palmetto win, reporters, coaches and athletes alike flooded the court. A group of interviewers get to Andrew, who is just about to exit the court and enter the locker room, one asking Andrew what his life motto is. He ignores every other question thrown at him, creating the following interaction:

Interviewer: Mr. Minyard, it must have taken a lot for you to have reached this level of achievement, if you have one, what is a personal motto that has helped you get here?

Andrew: Be gay do crime.

And then he shoves his way through the crowd and into the locker room. Chaos ensues.

andrew buys kevin history books all the time, it’s not uncommon for him to be out living his life and see a book and think ‘hm, kevin likes that author’ and buy it and wordlessly slap it down on kevin’s desk before walking away and turning on the tv, and kevin never says anything but he always drops what he’s doing to sit with andrew and read his new book, and if kevin starts making faces at what he’s reading (or scribbling in the margins) andrew knows it was a success
