This morning I was reminded about that one time we went to the west Highland way and ran 19 miles. It was by no means my fastest training run, far from it but I had the most fun I've ever had running that kind of distance. I spent Saturday at a baby shower, surrounded by mothers of young children who told me the joys of birth, potty training, feeding habits and children that never stop crying. They also felt the need to say to me, “Oh but you’ll have all this to come”

Well, perhaps - but not right now, and at 29 I’ve got plenty time. 

Just because everyone else is doing it, doesn’t mean I have to aswell. We’re not in high school any more!
