Bonus: SXSW style that caught my eye!
Bye Bye LA, hello Austin! SXSW 2016 was amazing. There is so much talent in this world. What a great opportunity to experience the festival while representing Olay at Pandora's Discovery Den.
What a fun trip to my beloved LA! The normal hiking and yoga in was in effect with Lisa, we had a fabulous lunch with friend and client Shira Piven, Director of “Welcome To Me” and caught Paula Killen's Write Club show before I headed to Anaheim for Natural Products Expo West. Loved working with MOJO!
If ever less than 1/2 day’s drive from a beach, you must go. Hey, I don’t make the rules!
I had thrown a bikini in my suitcase for New Orleans on the off chance I might pop over to the beach before heading home. And that I did. The Gulf Coast is PERFECT right now. Great weather, no crowds, and I happened to get in right before they raised rates for the season. I stayed at Perdido Beach Resort in Orange Beach, Alabama which is right on the Alabama - Florida line. I absolutely loved this resort and will bring the family back in the fall.
NOLA! What's good? This was a high energy activation with a lot of messaging and this team was stellar! Lots of fun at the New Orleans Rock and Roll Marathon Weekend for Toyota. I got in my sightseeing and shopping in the French Quarter on Bourbon Street and Jackson Square, ate beignets at Cafe DuMonde, and rode the Streetcar through the Garden District. Till next time...
Bringing you Sunshine State realness in Orlando! Built Ford Tough at AHR 2016l
I popped over to Seattle after my San Francisco trip since to see my brother and support my brother-in-law's special screening of his film! So exciting and amazing. I overnighted in St. Louis after the flight back to avoid snow-covered roads with a posh stay at Omni Hotel downtown.
Back again to San Francisco and loving every minute. I always enjoy my quality time with Mare Mare! I’m here working The Winter Fancy Food Show for Maria & Ricardo's Tortilla Factory. Awesome Vegan, GMO Project Certified tortillas, and made with organic flours! Already booked Expo West for them in March.
There are just 15 artists on the Sephora Pro Team and I was lucky enough to be chosen as a face model for one of them. This was for an Urban Decay artist workshop at the Hilton Downtown, Nashville. Jeffrey English, thank you so much! Catch up with you soon in Chicago.
Hotlanta!! It's been a minute. Working Imaging USA for photoflashdrive.com at Georgia World Congress Center. Isn't Rusty the cutest?
I just love Louisville. While working a promotion at NAILE, Alicia and I got to hit up my favorite Louisville bar/restaurant/hotel/art gallery - 21c Museum Hotel and Proof. Thanks Leigh Anne for hosting us!
Cedar Key, Florida for two weeks? Yes Please! I was hosted by my best friend Kim at her lovely second home. I was able to bring my furbabies and lots of walking, running and daily yoga made for a great retreat. We took the kayaks over to Atsena Otie Island one day, so beautiful!
I love having shows in San Francisco because in addition to it being such a vibrant and beautiful town I get to see my Mare Mare, whom I adore! The fact that she literally lives one block from Moscone and has the best roof view/workout spot is an added plus. Great time at Oracle Open World for Sandisc.
My brother lives in Seattle so I try to pick up shows there when I can. This was the first time I got out to see "The Great Northern Hotel" from TVs Twin Peaks. (Actually the Salish Lodge and Spa and Snoqualmie Falls.) Breathtaking! The wine tower is at Purple in downtown Seattle.
Oh hi, Nashvegas. Quick trip to Nashville to do some trade show modeling for Xodus Medical. Just laying there demonstrating the equipment is so different from my usual active crowd gathering. Still fun!
Fun trip to the Minne-apple to see my dear friend Andrea. It was unseasonably warm boating out on Lake Minnetonka was called for in addition to the Twins Game, sightseeing at the Spoonbridge and Cherry and St Paul’s Cathedral, delicious dining and a great night at Minneapolis’ best new club, The Exchange.
This has to be one of the most fun shows I’ve worked to date. Scissorhands Software provides automation for Guillotine Cutters in the print industry. Crowd Gathering was pretty easy in these stand-out outfits. I had the best time in Chicago with my friend Corey and new soul sista Ashley. Post show sushi at Sunda was to die for. Too much fun!
