here at timotheetea we like to stay as far out of fandom drama as possible. however, this is an issue that has come up multiple times now (his face and hair being touched without his permission).
i know it can be hard to realize or remember this since timothée is such an open and charming person, but he is a STRANGER to you. you don’t know him and he doesn’t know you. it is not okay at all to touch him in any capacity without his permission. invading anyone’s personal space in such a way is unacceptable and should not be tolerated in any way.
think about it this way: if timothée was a female actress and a male fan did that to her, it would be considered sexual assault, especially in today’s me too and time’s up movements, of which timothée has been vocal about supporting.
*edit*: i was wrong in saying that if timothée was female this would be considered sexual assault. it’s still sexual assault regardless of the person’s gender. we all know it and timothée knows it too and he’s clearly upset about it.
timothée seems to really love meeting fans, going out of his way and spending lots of his time doing so, but that’s gonna change if this shit keeps happening. he loves being around us and talking with us and signing things for us and hugging us, but that’s it!!!!!! be kind and considerate and aware of what you are doing. treat others the way you want to be treated. if you want a hug from him, ask for it first and he will most likely give you a very lovely hug. but you have to ask first!!!!!!!! consent ppl!!!! *lil timmy tim voice* no means no, let’s go!!!
in conclusion, the best way to show your love for him when you meet him is to be respectful and ask and say nice things. be a kind person who respects the boundaries of others. that’s it. it’s not hard. there were fans today who did not get to meet him because of this situation, he was upset and so were other fans. it goes both ways.
just some food for thought for those who will be meeting him over this festival and awards season, and forever.
thanks for coming to our ted talk.

“We rode our bicycles to town that morning.” “In years to come, if the book was still in his possession, I wanted him to ache. Better yet, I wanted someone to look through his books one day, open up this tiny volume of Armance, and ask, ‘Tell me who was in silence, somewhere in Italy in the mid-eighties?’”

He’s not evil, he’s just misunderstood.
Misunderstood villain Loki won the Marvel Cinematic Universe bracket challenge as the most popular MCU character, beating out Winter Solider with 73.76 percent of the vote,
The bracket pitted 32 of Marvel’s best and most important characters against each other in a franchise match-up similar to what we’ll see in Infinity War. We ranked them based on relevance to the MCU, general popularity and overall dopeness. While there were plenty of upsets (none of our No. 1 seeds made it to the final) none was more surprising than Dr. Strange beating out Black Panther. That will never make sense. One thing that was clear early on in the voting was that Loki consistently demolished all his opponents. He defeated Scarlet Witch, Thor, Captain America, Rocket and finally Winter Solider to capture the crown. Aside from Rocket, that’s not an easy draw.
Designed by Greg Hester
Through the 10 years of MCU films, Loki has evolved from a temperamental trickster to someone working towards redemption, which has endeared him to fans. He was the principal antagonist for Thor in the first two films of that franchise, but the first Avengers movie turned him into a proper villain, which a large swath of fandom rebelled against. The latest Thor: Ragnarok not only successfully rebooted that franchise, but it retconned a lot of Loki’s character as well, making him more a misunderstood antagonist than a narcissistic psychopath. It remains to seen where Infinity War takes the character, but Loki offering up the tesseract doesn’t look good.
Thanks to everyone who voted in this poll, and let’s hope Infinity War doesn’t kill him off.
And this is the guy they left out of their magazine shoots…
And whom they have put on barely any merchandise—imagine when they see this poll….
Maybe they will be learned and put him on more things soon…
