I made this cute and simple sketch using procreate for the first time and following a Lois tutorial ! I quite liked it ;)

the last character from the novel concept i’ve mentioned a few times ;) he’s an arrogant aristocrate who’s essentially a social climber, despite that his ability for strategy is to be respected. He also has a weirdly specific interest in farming and aspects of agriculture ?

La guerrière: the main character of the novel ;) she is a veteran warrior and leader who’s been fighting for a cause so long and so hard she isn’t sure she believes in it as much anymore. She’s a bit of a legend in this story with the victories she’s accumulated and the amount of time she’s been fighting the same cause. She’s been left broken by what she’s witnessed.

A character in a friend’s concept for a novel ;) he’s a soldier who’s fallen in love and joined a cause for it.

la poétesse: she is a character in a friend’s novel (well concept for a novel). She is both sharp minded and a wicked good writer ;) that’s all i know about her so far !

A drawing i made that was trying to make me feel and give off a calm vibe.

This was originally meant to represent Ling Chang, from the Diviners by Libba Bray, (hence sort of 1920 inspired outfit and hair) not entirely sure if that actually translates but whatever. She’s a really interesting character who’s really into science and being snarky. She’s also half chinese, half Irish, and living in New York.
