This is Elise Ridley and she has not been seen or heard from since the beginning of November of last year (2014). Her last Facebook post was on November 4, 2014 and her family has been posting on her Facebook page hoping that anyone would come forward saying if they have heard from her, seen her or spoken to her recently. No one has come forward. Today is her birthday, her 22nd birthday and she’s missing. She’s someone’s daughter, niece, granddaughter, friend, co worker, employee and one of my friends. I haven’t heard from her in so long and I’m honestly worried about her being gone for so damn long. Imagine what her mother and father are going through not knowing where their daughter is on her own birthday. It’s a crippling feeling and I’m hoping that spreading the word of her disappearance on tumblr will help bring her home. Elise Ridley is an African American 22 year old female, she lives on the east coast in Richmond, Virginia and she attends VCU. She works for the Commonwealth Times as a webmaster, she also works at Boston Productions Inc. as production coordinator and at VCU Music in marketing and external relations as an assistant. She has black short hair, a septum piercing and is of average height with a slender build. Elise is friendly, social, sweet, thoughtful and has always been kind to me, I consider her a good friend because she is an honest and wonderful woman. Let’s bring her back home safely for her parents! Please reblog and help spread the word of Elise’s disappearance.
I tried to google to see if there were any updates, and couldn’t find any. But I did find a comment she made on a public page… :( https://www.facebook.com/8News/posts/10152399280073379
I hope she is found safe and unharmed.
This is actually weird…. Is this whole thing fake? There isn’t even any contact information on this. -_-
This is not fake. Her family, her colleagues, her friends and I are still looking for her. You can email me at [email protected] or message me on tumblr as far as the contact information goes. I wasn’t given permission to give out her aunt or parent’s phone numbers or emails so please feel free to use mine instead.
Please spread this. This is one of my close friends, Elise. I really hope she’s okay…

Happy Black History YEAR!
Greatness.
loving how my old history teacher talked about them like a terrorist group
boost me up
Wow okay so for those skimming, there’s a memo up there from THE DIRECTOR OF THE FBI that sets a mission to LIE about the good things the Black Panthers were doing, spread rumors of them being terrorists, and terrorize the communities supporting them.
If you think the Black Panthers were terrorists and you’ve never heard of the community-building, it’s because there was a literal government conspiracy to make you and people 45 years ago think that way.
i’m reblogging again (bolding mine), because people need to fucking know this. especially white americans.
TRUTH. My dad was a BP and this is a common misconception.
This weekend, activists in Uganda - a country where homosexuality is punishable by death - held their first Pride.
This is the epitome of courage. I have no other words.
THIS IS SO POWERFUL

this is what happens when student activists play cards against humanity…..
That’s some depressing truth.
