Summary: You see in black and white until you meet your soulmate - then you can see colors.
Hinata hums as she walks down the street to where shino had invited her to meet someone new at her favorite cafe. As she walks in and peers around the small cozy cafe she locks eyes with the boy sitting next to her friend. Suddenly life springs to color from gray tones. She freezes for a second, a blush dusting her cheeks. She looks around in astonishment, taking in the new colors presented before her. She couldn’t process everything fast enough as she approaches the table. “U-uh hello” She hums out shyly as she takes a seat.
Kiba leans back while waiting with Shino. ‘He told me to come here with him to meet some new person he knows. I wonder who they are and what they’re like?’ He wonders to himself. Then as he hears the door to the cafe open, he looks up and sees a cute lavender eyed girl peering around the cafe. As she looks over and sees Shino and then to Kiba, his eyes lock with hers and he starts to see color build from her eyes to the world around him. His eyes light up and he feels his cheeks begin to heat up and blush. He ignores the now colorful world around him and is only fixated on who he now knows is hos soulmate. When she speaks, his heart starts pounding the moment her voice hits his ears. “H-h hey. Uhm. My name is Kiba. What is yours?” He asks after she is seated.
“I’m Hinata. It’s nice to meet you” she hums as her heart pounds in her chest. What do you do when you meet your soulmate? Isn’t it supposed to be a special moment? How do you start talking about it. And infront of shino? She doesn’t wanna ignore their friend. She starts playing with her hands nervously.
Shino looks between the two a little confused. “What’s up with you 2” he asks as he leans back.
Without looking at Shino, Kiba replies. “Shino. The whole world just changed from the grey to all these colors. I think I just met my soulmate.” He stays looking at Hinata, not even able to focus on Shino much at all.
Hinata turns bright red. He just outright said it. He's so bold. Her heart started beating fastly. "yeah- as soon as I looked him in the eyes all of a sudden color burst to life... " She mumbles quietly. This was a lot to take in how's she supposed to go about this.
Shinos nods. "We were gonna go watch a movie together but if you'd rather I can leave you 2 all e and let you process and we can change our plans to tomorrow" he offers.
