sorry still thinking abt josephine and blackwall. all of josephine's romance scenes are her going my word..........oh we mustn't.......oh i couldn't possibly. she matches blackwall's chivalric romance level rly, rly well, and i think there's a lot to mine from the idea of her telling blackwall abt this bard she killed, and how guilty she still feels abt it. that's rly lovely.
and also blackwall being the recipient of leliana's 'don't fuck w her' speech. maybe he assumes the jig is up. and instead an entirely different jig he hasn't even been daring to hope for is up. and now the inquisition's ambassador is blushing talking to this guy who says things like 'you have the world at your feet, myself included' and 'it's good to be part of something so important, something that could change things.' need anybody to carry anything heavy? my lady?
but josephine is ALSO getting all of blackwall's romantic beats. and so she's showing up to the herald's rest like i opened up to this gruff soldier and now he is going to open up to me (: and blackwall is like when i was a child i watched some other kids hang a dog. and josephine is choosing all the nice dialogue options slowly realizing he's wayyyyyyyy drunker than she thought he was. and she's like oh. um. well, you said you were just a boy. and he's like I MAY AS WELL HAVE TIED THE NOOSE MYSELF. THERE'S ALWAYS SOME DOG OUT THERE. SOME FUCKING MONGREL THAT DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO STAY AWAY.
and she goes back to her bedroom and stares at the ceiling and says oh well josephine! we can try again tomorrow! and the next day he is GONE. and leliana is going so do you want me to kill him? i could kill him. and the ambassador of the inquisition has to be like no i do not want you to kill him. i want you to be normal. we were not courting. we did not get to that stage. and then blackwall blows up all the diplomatic rapport josephine's been working so hard to establish w orlais.
