Some time ago, I made a Pride Day art with the gang: Jasper, Damian and friends celebrating their pride day. Jasper is now canonically Demi-Ace, Dami is Bi and their friend, Nina is Pan!
Good news is that this story will be making a come back!
Main cast’s height chart from Lavender Tea. The new kids are Sophie and Mikael. They'll be in a sequel call ‘Paper Planes’. . This is how they look like in middle school, while Damian would be the oldest,in high school.
Some facts:
Damian dislikes his school, and prefers to play music
Ninora was in a group called the ‘Pink Ladies’ consist of high fashion girls.
Sophie is a socially anxious girl. She likes to read and write stories. She became close friends with Nina.
Jasper is a part time florist and a hopeless romantic.
All drawn by ink pens and colored by Copic markers.
The Liar Prince: Damian portrait made with watercolor and Copics. He is a secretive teen and tends to have other thoughts in mind. Has much Chaotic energy.
After some years, I am redrawing the children for my Lavender Tea series! Featuring the new girl, Sophie. The boyish Ninora and the kindly Jasper. Nina now has a younger twin brother; Mikael.
The style follows more of a ‘middle grade’ cartoon such as Svetlana’s Awkward.
Working on a story about Jacky; this multi-facet boy for a cute family #comic he is an artist and a babysitter. He has a nice demeanor and knows how to be deceptive. He enjoys eating Pocky and tends to stare, lost in his thoughts
Different from Jassie, I want to try a hand to write different main protagonists.
College ‘grow up’ ver: Jasper and Damian, in Banana Fish artstyle! Since I felt Jasper is similar to Eiji's personality and so is Damian's hairstyle like Ash. It’s really good to use as reference to help me make them look older.
Lavender Tea (Anime screencap)! Some implication of what may come in future, when Jassie reunites with his childhood friend.
Some work in progress for the next chapter! The story of Jassie and his friends are still dear to my heart so it will be continuing soon <3
This is Sophie; she follows his plays and enjoys watching Jassie perform. As a hobby, she likes to sew and design her own fashion. At times, she helps to alter his school jacket.

From Lavender Tea; the cast wish you a happy Pride month and more comics to come for the year. The story has various characters of different orientation, some aren’t as obvious as others, yet they will be there, while others are still exploring their identity. There are also supportive adults; from Aunt Rosella and Ein (her wife), to the wise Miss Roswald, the dedicated trans drama teacher.

Throwback: From my older work, I find a way to revised old pages. Here is a sample from my first comic for ‘Florist Assistant’. In the old version, it had a clutter of dialogue of Jasper being a little reluctant but agrees to take up a cafe job. New alternate; His Aunt gives him a call about her flower shop which he happily agrees to work there. There’s also a hint of his love for theater.

My comic is going by a new title; The Sleeping Prince with ‘Lavender Tea’ as a studio name to refer to my collection of web comics.

Revised plot: They will be a part of the performing arts theater, with Dami learning music, Jasper is nimble and both of them learning about acting roles.
