Howdy fellas

What's your opinion on moving Lazlo over to my multimuse? The simple fact is that he belongs to that universe and I was more scared of people just refusing not to give him a shot because he's 'the new muse', but now I know he's well-liked I think I could get away with it?

Please do gimme your opinion though!

“Slowly Claudia blinked eye eyes opened, not too fond of others barging unannounced especially when it interrupted nap time. She rose up, turning to the door way. If this was anyone else she likely snap at him.

Call it a connection via those demon instincts or maybe just having a heart deep down but she had a soft spot relatives regardless of how distant.

"Lazly…it’s been some time.” she said blankly, “For what do I owe the pleasure of this sudden visit.” her tone was heavily laced with sarcasm that she couldn’t hold back even if she tried.

❝ Well, it’s nice to see you haven’t lost your sense of enthusiasm, ❞ he said facetiously, curiously looking around the room. He’d never gotten much of a sense of her style, so everything was new to him.

Waving around a bit to try and catch the balance of his that no longer mattered, he ended up just huffing. ❝ WHETHER you like it or not , you’re stuck with me . Might as well just get used to it . ❜ Which was true for almost both of them. Things were sometimes fuzzy for the Professor (more literal than figurative most of the time) but he had adjusted well enough to being brought back.

🏆 ❝ I want you to take me to the store , Dipshit . ❜ ― That playful sarcasm dripping from his tone, he crossed his arms as he just swung in the air as he was held up. There wasn’t much of a defense for this kind of bullying. Jackass. ❝ DO you know how long it takes me just to move from room to room ? Or even get a book now ? I’d be gone for like , 5 million years if I left without you ! And then what ? ! A cat comes and eats me ? Nuh uh , no way . Either you get me jelly beans , or I’ll show you my full wrath . ❜

He could sympathise a little-- or at the very least, mock him from experience. He’d never had to bear the burden of short stumpy legs after all, he was sure they were a nightmare to navigate... but it also wasn’t his fault that he was born woefully fucking useless.

❝ It isn’t my fault your genes hate you, little guy, ❞ he tittered facetiously, dropping the Professor with a non-committal flourish of his hand in favour of looking for some fresh clothes. Mercifully, the bed wasn’t far from where he’d been holding him, making his fall short and sweet. As he was tugging a clean shirt over his shoulders: ❝ But I suppose it is my fault for showing you mercy. I guess you are my burden to bear-- for better or for worse. ❞

It was always in the name of good fun. Tease and insult he may have, but the Professor was a dear friend to him-- dear enough to be moved by his death, dear enough to have him preserve his soul and insert it into something that didn’t have to die. Dear enough to keep.

"Have food?" The very tiny ferret-like creature stares up at the other. "Can… have?" There he goes, sitting up on his hind legs as blue eyes looked wide and as sad as he could get them. Rei didn’t exactly like begging, but he was hungry.

He wasn’t moved by animals very often. Sure, he liked the odd cat picture here and there on his social media feed-- almost entirely cultivated by a much more tech-savvy Ricky, mind you-- but in general he was indifferent.

This one though, it was weird - and Lazlo could vibe with weird.

If there was one thing the Professor should have known about Lazlo, it was that disturbing his naps was a good way to wind up with his ass beat. For just a moment, white-hot anger burned in the demon’s eyes... and then he fwumped back into place, head hitting his pillow with a comical pomf!

❝ Sometimes, I regret bringing you back, ❞ he grumbled. ❝ Like, really regret it. Like, I should have kept the receipt regret it. ❞ Nevermind the fact that he’d been dead to the world for almost sixteen hours-- he was going to act as if he’d slept for sixteen minutes! His fingers curled into the scruff of the puppet’s collar, holding him up above him with a squint. ❝ What do you want ME to do about it, tiny? The store’s a WHOLE FIFTEEN MINUTES AWAY! ❞
