Ok, but fr I've been watching videos on a youtube channel called Wonny, and he has a lot of content on beauty trends in China and plastic surgeries there, and there are some people significantly altering their ears, eyelids, etc. Profit-hungry people (def not just in China) will try to make dangerous things trendy if it gets them more money.

they call it “fairy ears” (精灵耳) and there’s like specific tapes you can buy to tape your ears to look that way. I tried it, not comfortable. this trend says it’ll make your face look smaller by your out-turned ears visually accentuating your face.
