A little information just for y'all to know: She's in Jester's control, but not like "The Fools" in the circus. I mean, she was supposed to become like them in the first place. But she's strangely different... Something about her isn't like "human" at all. Soooooo... The circus members decided to turn her into a performer with a stage name "The Marionette"

Got any unhinged thoughts about Jester you want to share?

He is a stunningly complex character that has so much nuance to him that you can get a whole group of people in a room who all love or hate him for entirely different reasons and they would all be so valid— of course I know you can say that about a lot of characters, technically, but Jester I think represents a sort of abrasive, ugly, and incredibly complicated sort of personality in a way that makes you both intimidated by him but also sortof.... attracted at the same time?

Admittedly this might just be because I interpret Jester as having dealt with a lot of issues similar to my own, and I am a HIGHLY empathetic person so that only makes that connection stronger. I see someone who has endured years of mental and physical mistreatment, stolen bodily autonomy, sexual harassment, discrimination and grief from personal and cultural losses.

So, because of those feelings, he represents this steadfast, hardened individual who genuinely wants nothing more than to see himself and his family living a life of happiness and freedom, someone who wants to share that with other monsters and has put past any sense of self-doubt and regret. He has seen the cold hardship of the world and has decided that to allow others to enjoy things untainted, he has to get his own hands bloody and endure the weight on his shoulders.

That isn't to say the others in the troupe aren't each with their own traumas, grief and pain— Jester just reminds me of someone who has operated off self-sacrifice for so long that its an expectation he places on himself. He has to be strong, poised, he has to have control over the situation. I don't ever seeing Jester submitting to someone else (even another monster) without having a deep and genuine trust for them.

And as someone who has been through a lot of painful things in life, I want that for him. I want him to smile, to lower his guard. I want to be vulnerable with him and him to be vulnerable with me in turn. And it doesn't have to be via submission! I think it can be explored in another aspect of Jester that appeals to me so much: the BDSM-esque vibes. I am again somewhat inebriated as I write this so words are a tad difficult, but I want to see that look of love in his eyes between him and a submissive who understands him inside and out, someone that understands and respects his boundaries and preferences and triggers and discomforts. I want someone to help love and protect his family, someone who won't shame him, someone who is his equal and he sees as his equal.

I love his confidence, genuine confidence, and I want to match his wit and charm when he talks about his books and the authors he likes, to be considered endearing by him in a way that can only be experienced between a monster and a human— not in a bad way that showcases our differences, but highlights our similarities.

Weekly update - Day3

I've been working on it for a little while now, and I'm still at the beginning of the script. A few new sprites have already been added, and two backgrounds have been updated! Since the previous update introduced a lot of new sprites, most of the upcoming scenes won't require many additional ones, although there will still be a few special scenes and brand-new backgrounds.

Before starting this update, I mentioned that I was cleaning up the game's code. Over the course of development, I've learned a lot and significantly improved the way I program, which has made everything much faster and easier to work on. The coffee shop scene is a bit long, so I only have two screenshots for you today Eu já venho trabalhando na atualização a algum tempo, e ainda stou no começo do roteiro. Alguns novos sprites foram adicionados, e dois backgrounds foram atualizados! Já que n atualização anterior eu adicionei varios novos sprites, boa parte das cenas não vai precisar de novos desenhos, mas ainda pode ter algumas cenas especiais com novoc backgrounds também. Antes de começar essa atualização eui mencionei que estava limpando o codigo. Com o desenvolvimento de tudo eu aprendi bastante e melhore bastante a forma de programar mais facil e isso vai deixar as coisas ao menos mais rapidas A cena do café é um pouco longa, eu tenho apenas 2 prints por hoje.

I previously mentioned that I needed to clean up the game's code before getting started, and it has genuinely made the development process much faster for me. The first weekly development update for Day 3 is already available on Patreon, and everyone else will be able to see it next week. That said, I'll be sharing fewer screenshots of new scenes this time around.

You'll also be getting some updates about the store and upcoming merchandise soon, so please be a little patient! I'm carefully checking the quality of every product before approving them. Some are already finished, while others are still on their way. I'll be sharing photos as soon as everything arrives.

Finally, a quick reminder: please don't use the moderators' ask boxes for questions, complaints, or reports about the game or unauthorized merchandise. I'll be providing an email address soon where you can send that information directly to me.

A programação para a nova atualização já esta em andamento! Eu havia mencionado que precisei fazer uma limpeza no código antes de começar, e isso realmente tornou as coisas bem mais rápidas para mim.
